Stone statues guarding the gates of a temple, burning incense, a battered lighter with a very rude gesture carved into it. The sharp, copper tang of blood, rusty chains, fire and brimstone. Hell is never far behind. Sharp knives, the need to prove oneself, old bloodstains on a banner held aloft by a staff. Go home.
