[color=blue][font=Calibri][size=6]So, what is a Seabreeze?[/size][/color][/font] The Seabreezes are a subspecies that I (@nennathriel) created upon my move to Wind from Water. I wanted a dragon that encompassed my new home, that had the love of my old home. I created two variants, based on the name of new members of each flight: Wisps and Droplets. [center][size=7][color=green]Seabreezes Origin[/size][/color][/center] Once long ago, the Tidelord and the Windsinger got into a furious, raging debate over the uninhabited land at the edge of the Wind and Water Flights. Both fathers wanted the land for their flights, and both would do anything to get it. Over time, the Tidelord raised waves after waves on the scrap of land, while the Windsinger would send gale force winds through the drenched trees. They would contest back and forth this way, until one day, between their quarrel, a tribe of dragons emerged from the currents of air and sea. The largest of the tribe, a crystalline blue Nocturne with swirls of green surrounding his body, addressed both of the deities directly. "I am Titus. I represent all those behind me. We are the Seabreezes. We are the physical manifestation of your combat and anger. But we refuse to live this way any longer. We live lives not of fury, but of kindness." With every word he spoke, the winds and waves subsided. The gods had no idea that their children lived in the small scrap of land. They looked down on the Seabreezes, and back at each other, with a newfound appreciation in their eyes. The brothers, from then on, left the land to the Seabreezes, and got along ever since. [center][size=5][color=blue]DROPLET LORE[/color][/size][/center] Droplet Seabreezes are windborn, but have become very adept in the water. They can maneuver even the most severe rip currents, and have the ability to breathe underwater. They can still fly through the swirling crescendos and tornados, but prefer to stay in the wetter parts of the divide between the Sea and the Plateau. They are more emotional, and some even make great oracles, like the children of the Tidelord. They still like to splash around sometimes, but they feel more at home in the breezes and the reeds. They have lost their abillity to breathe underwater and rarely hear prophecies anymore, but have become extremely fast flyers and tend to become messengers. They are very free spirited, happy dragons that are selfless and care for others more than themselves. [center][size=7][color=green]Registration Tiers[/size][/color][/center] To register your Seabreeze, simply ping me with a link to your dragon so I can confirm, and I will place them on the registry on the next number available! Badges for Dragon Bios can be found below the Registry. [center][size=5][color=gold]Seasqualls - Enhanced Seabreezes[/size][/color][/center] If the Seabreeze has an XXY pattern (Ultramarine for Droplets and Seafoam for Wisps), they will be considered a Droplet or Wisp Seasquall, rather than a Seabreeze. Lorewise, these dragons wield more powerful magic and are faster and stronger than their breeze counterparts, usually having all characteristics of both Wind and Water Flights. Honorary Seasqualls may only be off by breed, not color or gene. [center][size=5][color=silver]Official Seabreeze[/size][/center] The dragon is an Official Seabreeze if it matches all the requirements listed above. [center][size=5][color=brown]Honorary Seabreezes[/size][/color][/center] Things that warrant an Honorary Seabreeze are as follows: [list][*]Being the opposite species required for a variant. (For example, a feathered Droplet or a scaled Wisp.) [*]Being one-off on a single color. [u]Only allowed for one slot! [/u](For example, the primary of an Honorary Droplet Seabreeze could be Cobalt or Blue, but the other two would have to fit the requirements. [*]Being one gene off. As long as the gene isn't Basic, you can be one gene off and be considered honorary. Same as stated above: if your primary is, for example, Ripple, your secondary must be Facet/Shimmer and your tertiary must be Crackle/Smoke, depending on your variant.
