Spores of many sorts travel from land to land in search of a place to grow on the Wind. However...it seems that the incident that changed Baldwin and created Bogsneaks also changed the spores riding on the currents above. Which, like most things carried by the Wind...wound up brought along with it to the Windsinger’s turf. Innocent dragons unknowingly playing on the windcurrents have found themselves the new homes of these spores. More worrying still;
These foreign contaminants appear to be changing them.
We of the Puff Clan have been studying these spores. Taking in contaminated dragons with the hope of bettering their states. Surprisingly, however, this change into a more...FUNGAL subspecies of dragon does not seem to cause any harm to the dragon themselves, however, some side-effects are quite shocking.
From strange scents to a newfound love of literature, these dragons have been separated into very distinct variations named after the type of fungus they resemble. By purchasing one of these dragons, you are, in effect, joining us in our studies of these foreign contaminants and the effects they seem to have. Each dragon may react to it differently...and some may not remain unharmed by the spores within it. Likewise...others may remain unharmed, and live even fuller, happier lives than before they were contaminated.
One can only theorize until the truth becomes evident.
This subspecies has been in the works since before the release of the Bog Breed, and is now available for purchase and to be looked at. A lot of money, both real and fake, work, and time has gone into this project.
So what I want to know is: Does this Subspecies interest you? And if not...What could be improved?
There are currently three variants Available; The common one, "Wrinkled Peach", even has breeding pairs available. The other two are "Bleeding Tooth", and "Bioluminescent". Variants currently in the works are "Inky Cap" and "Blue Stain"...I also have an Idea for a sixth variant, but I want to see how successful the first ones are before investing more money, effort, and time.
That said...

These dragons were affected by spores hailing from Arcane lands. As the name implies, these dragons resemble the wrinkled peach mushrooms...with whitish bodies, wrinkly light orange wings, and hardened-sap...or natural ambers of sorts...clings to them. Strangely enough, these dragons give off a wonderfully fruity aroma, and seem quite friendly.
Those with this variation of contamination begin to exhibit dreamer-like behavior. Often getting lost and thought, and marveling at the simplest of things. They see easily inspired by the world around them, and use this inspiration to create. Whether it be art, engineering, science, or by some other medium...these dragons are full of ideas and the will to bring their dreams to life.
This strand seems to be the most dominant, and most wide-spread, making it the most common variant.

The Prime Example I own of this subspecies is my pride and joy, PeachCider:

Hailing from Plaugue territory comes the well-named Bleeding Tooth strand of the Foreign Spores subspecies. These dragons, like all from the Foreign Spores subspecies, have whitish bodies...but these have a more...fluffy and PUFFY texture to them. Much like a biscuit...even more so since their hardened sap/amber growths somewhat resemble jelly...mmmmm-hmmmm...
(...I apologize...I must be hungry...)
My own non-sense aside, However, dragons contaminated with this particular strand of spores tend to mellow out significantly...going against behavior typical of "plague"...these dragons have a will to help those in need, and protect the weak. Given a new sense of purpose, these kindly dragons take to becoming warriors, knights, doctors, dentists, and psychologists. They wish nothing more then to protect and heal those around them...and do so happily.

We are unable to figure out why...however, the spores seem to have changed the nature of the dragons somewhat. After infection, they take up nocturnal habits, and can see into the dreams of others. This seems like a really interesting potential subspecies! The variants are very cool, and I really like the Bio-luminescent one. I'd love to know when you release the other potential variants if that's ok?

@AbyssalAnathema I'd be happy to let you know!^^
Thank you very much for commenting! I really like fungi myself...and dragons...and the idea of making a dragons subspecies based on mushrooms made me SO HAPPY!^^
I'm glad to see others sharing my weird interest, lol.^^
Additionally, Each dragon baby comes with a matching mushroom colony free... (which is why I can't sell them on the AH very well).
Edit:
Also, I am happy to tell you that with WC scrolls available in the marketplace, the VERY FIRST DRAGON OF THE INKYCAP VARIANT HAS BEEN FULLY GENED!

Edit:
New graphic for them too:

Lore:
"Hailing from Shadow lands came the spores that have created the Inky Caps. Unlike the other strands, while still of whitish body, these dragons lean towards the greys and purples. Separating them further is that rather than secreting a natural sap that hardens into amber like jewels, most Inky Caps instead have their "sap" perpetually running down their bodies! Shockingly, they have come to use their own sap like ink, and many are writers, scholars, poets and scribes.
These dragons long for adventures both of the body and of the mind, and are also keen listeners to the stories of others. "

Tbh mushrooms are cool, and dragons are cool, so both is doubly cool. (And I also like glowing things a whole lot so glowing mushroom dragons = even better.)
!!!! That's so cool omg. But I can definitely see how AH selling would be a bit difficult yes.
Also I just literally stared at her for a few seconds and whispered 'I love her'.
