Eye Color: Preferably water, but all are accepted.Lore: No one knows exactly how these dragons came to be. They are a strange breed, in some ways closer to sharks than other dragons. They are a vicious bunch, often bullying weaker dragons for territory, food, and anything else the dragons have that they desire. Their society is almost as brutal, a place where the strongest rule, and the weak are cast aside. As a result of this, high ranking individuals are comprised almost entirely of the larger variants. Sharks are generally poor magic users, and most dislike weapons, believing your body is the only weapon you need.
Great White
Primary: Smoke-Coal Iridescent
Secondary: Smoke-Coal Shimmer
Tertiary: White Underbelly
Lore:Great whites are usually at the top of Shark society. They are often quite arrogant, believing that they are the best and treating non-great whites poorly. Despite their attitude, many respect them for their great skill in combat.
Blue
Primary: Sapphire-Blue Iridescent
Secondary: Sapphire-Blue Shimmer
Tertiary: White or Moon Underbelly
Lore:Blue Sharks are just under great whites in terms of social standing . In speed and agility, however, they are second to none. Their strategies in combat reflect this, as they are often seen dancing around their opponents while inflicting severe injuries with their claws.
White Tip
Primary: Smoke-Coal, Beige - Latte Iridescent
Secondary: Smoke-Coal, Beige - Latte Shimmer
Tertiary: White Okapi
Lore:White-tips have a long-standing rivalry with
black-tips, despite the fact that no one even remembers what their feud was about. Their ranking in the hierarchy is about equal to the black-tips. These dragons are often craftsmen of various trades, such as blacksmithing, tailoring and jewel-making.
Black Tip
Primary: Smoke - Coal, Beige - Latte, Iridescent
Secondary: Smoke - Coal, Beige - Latte, Shimmer
Tertiary: Oilslick - Eldritch Okapi
Lore:Black-tips have a long-standing rivalry with white-tips, despite the fact that no one even remembers what their feud was about. Their ranking in the hierarchy is about equal to the white-tips. These dragons often pursue careers in the various sciences.
Tiger
Primary: Smoke-Coal Tiger
Secondary: Smoke-Coal Stripes
Tertiary: White or Maize Underbelly
Lore:Tiger Sharks are quite lazy, preferring to scavenge rather than actively hunt. This laziness is probably the only reason they aren't above blues in Shark society. When they are forced to fight, they prefer to kill enemies with a single, devastating attack. If this doesn't work they will try to bite their opponent, as their bite strength is unmatched by anyone.
Goblin
Primary: Platinum-Shale Iridescent
Secondary: Platinum-Shale Shimmer
Tertiary: Mauve-Bubblegum Stained
Lore:Goblin sharks are at the bottom of the pile, ostracized by the others for their grotesque appearance. Unlike other Sharks, they are poor fighters, and their thin skin is easily damaged. For this reason, goblins rely heavily on traps to deal with enemies, further distancing them from other Shark species. They are skilled engineers.
Cookie Cutter
Primary: Ginger-Auburn Iridescent
Secondary: Ginger-Auburn Shimmer
Tertiary: Ginger-Auburn Underbelly(preferably lighter than the primary)
Lore:Cookiecutters are the smallest and weakest of the Sharks. Thus, they usually avoid combat. When they do fight, they attack their foes weak-points, while avoiding attacks. Cookiecutters method of feeding is also strange. Like, their namesake, they sneak up on larger creatures and remove a circular piece of flesh from their victims. They are often hired as spies.
Leopard
Primary: Sand-Dirt Bar
Secondary: Sand-Dirt Daub
Tertiary: Maize-White Underbelly
Lore:Leopard Sharks often have an interest in medicine, with most choosing to become doctors or nurses. They do not like to fight, but when they must, they usually ambush their opponents, using the patterns on their scales to blend into the environment. You often won't see a leopard Shark until it's too late.
Whale
primary: Grey-Shale Clown. Jaguar
Secondary: Grey-Shale Eyespot, Rosette
Tertiary: White Underbelly
Lore:Whale Sharks are the largest Shark species. They usually don't need to fight, their size intimidates most would-be aggressors,. They spend most of their lives wandering and feeding on plants. For this reason, they are not part of the main Shark society and exist outside the hierarchy.
Lantern
Primary: Oilslick-Midnight Iridescent
Secondary: Oilslick-Midnight Shimmer
Tertiary: Cyan-Aqua, Radioactive, Leaf Underbelly, Glimmer, Opal, Contour, Smoke and Runes.
Lore:Lantern Sharks have full control over the bioluminescent markings covering their bodies, and often use them to guide other dragons, and to communicate with other lanterns. Water lantern sharks generally stay in the Leviathan Trench during the day, only surfacing at night. On land they will seek out dark caves to hide in during the day. These sharks are terrified of fighting, and when confronted with a threat, will extinguish their markings and flee into the darkness.
Granite Thresher
Breeds: AllPrimary: Taupe-Latte Giraffe
Secondary: Taupe-Latte Hex
Tertiary: Taupe-Latte Scales or Cantaloupe-Fire Runes, Opal
Lore:Granite Threshers are powerful magic users, a rare occurrence in other Sharks. Their bodies are covered in thick stone plates, sacrificing agility for defense. Due to this, they are often hired as bodyguards. In combat they will blast their opponents with jets of boiling water, or magical fireballs if they are on land.
Shale Thresher
Breeds: AnyPrimary: Gloom-Shale Giraffe
Secondary: Gloom-Shale Hex
Tertiary: Gloom-Shale Scales or Cerulean-Aqua Runes, Opal
Lore:While Shale Threshers are sometimes used as bodyguards, like their granite brethren, they are more often used as living batteries, owing to their affinity for lightning magic. In combat Shale Threshers will usually stun their opponents with powerful blasts of electricity, before moving in for the kill. While other Sharks see this as cowardice, Shale Threshers ignore them for the most part. Cowardice or not, it's effective.
