However, in Sornieth, glitter is currently made from thin sheets of metal, or glass. Such substances, while of little danger to an adult dragon, might make a parent wary of letting their hatchlings participate in the festivities. Glint is the manufacturer extraordinaire of the Emissaries of Glitter. Her tenacity and willingness to experiment has lead to several hopeful leads, but nothing concrete. She seeks a safe form of glitter, having occasionally hurt herself getting carried away in her excitement and swallowing a lot.

Ylsa, clan alchemist, is an interesting combination of horrified ("But... they're so much less pretty than I am!") and intrigued. Like he's not sure he really wants to be responsible for helping make one but he also wants to poke it with a stirrer and see what happens.
