Deadly Nightshades
Nightshades came about when one dragon tried to experiment with the berries of Deadly Nightshade. The results were... Unexpected. The scales of the dragon who was experimented on changed and shifted to varying shades of purple and deep, almost black, purple. Including the original dragon's own scales, for they too tried to see what this would do to an adult rather then a hatchling.
Venom began to drip from their teeth when they opened their jaws, and their claws began to glow green on occasion. What the glow did depended on the coloring of the dragon. The darker in color, the higher chance of the glow causing another non-Nightshade to become radioactive while the brighter in color the more likely it was that a non-Nightshade became a Nightshade.
However, the original dragon never meant for it to spread like this they only wanted to see what would happen... Was that really so wrong? They never meant for it to become a danger, they just wanted to see... To know... To discover something that could change how survival worked! They never meant for it to backfire, to fail so horribly like it did...
Were they really to blame for this... For this utter take over??

All depends on colors really. Genes and such can be fitted to suit the owner's own personal tastes. Runes seem to fit these guys well for a tert, but again it's all personal tastes.
Since the darker the nightshade the more dangerous it is, I've created a chart to tell you the scale of least to most dangerous.
Amethyst, Nightshade, Violet, Plum, Wisteria, Grape, Eggplant, Blackberry, Shadow, Midnight
The less dangerous the color, the more common it is that that dragon is a Nightshade while the darker they are the less likely they're to be of this type of species. Tert colors and Element (though they tend to be more of the shadow flight then any other.) don't really matter here so no worrying about those, 'kay?! Mkay! C:
The primary and secondary colors have to be within the list of colors given! If they aren't then they aren't Nightshades, but HALFshades!
