Lore Overview
The Mountain Peak subspecies are thus named for their inhabitance near the tops of mountains in the Cloudscrape Crags. They embody the Earth, Sky, and Snow that surrounds their every waking moment. The wings of a Mountain Peak is said to reflect the time of day a dragon was hatched and their natures as well. The Mountain Peaks believe that everything of importance takes place at the top of their homes where it is the coldest and most open to the sky. They leave their eggs at the mountain peaks to hatch. This is to encourage adaptability, resourcefulness, and the intelligence that is needed to survive in the Cloudscrape Crags. The hatchlings then must find out how to reach their clan dwellings alone. Those that make it are marked as true Mountain Peak dragons. Those that don’t…
Lairs
These dragons do have caves dwellings that they will use for sleep but for the most part prefer open areas where they can interact with each other. The Mountain Peak subspecies spend a majority of their time outside of the clans foraging.

Cloudy Mountain Peaks are only hatched on days when not a inch of the sky or sun is visible. These hatchlings are seen as bad omens to the rest of their clan members and are often given a wide berth. Because of this they hold an inner strength that none of the others have. Very few hatchlings survive the initial climb down the mountain top due the increased coldness and lack of visibility. Those that do never stop fighting against the obstacles presented and know a honesty and self assuredness unparalleled to those around them.
