They come from all elements, and are formed unintentionally by surges of magic from the deities. This lore is much less strict than the lore above, and headcanons/lore by others that is especially relaxed will be marked with *** [LIST] [*]Faeries retain some of their characteristics through a breed change, but they are lost more with each breed change [*]First generation faeries are created from magic at random, but children of faeries have a chance of being faeries as well, even if only one parent is a faerie. While the non-faerie children may show slightly higher magical aptitude, it is an all or nothing thing. ***Some say that magic is lost over time to non-faerie parents, but this is more of a hushed prejudice amongst some that children with two faerie parents and more so first generation faeries are superior. (Faeries can be headcanoned as any generation regardless of on-site parentage) [*]Faeries seem to have an odd connection to the moon(s), and always hatch in the night time. Some think the stages of the moon effects their power. Congregations of faeries often meet on full and new moons. [/LIST]

I'm glad you guys like it! It'll be fun to see other faerie dragons soon. I'm actually breeding my faerie pair right now, would you like to be pinged when they hatch? They're white/purple-lavender/white-lavender with basic/butterfly-shimmer/glimmer

I do really like the pastel effect, but the glittery crests are an important characteristic of faeries. The color wheel expansion might open up some more pastel options though!
