The Windsinger fought as well as any god, after all his battle with the Tidelord created the Stormcatcher, but he also recognized that the other gods were peers and possible friends. That knowledge and a love of the Winds took him away from his realm most the time, leaving it to the dragons forming clans there. He did occasionally waft through the Windswept Plateau, and one day he witnessed the aftermath of battle that had washed over the Zephyr Steppes: blood staining the bamboo, broken kites, loved ones weeping tears of mourning, and lost spirits of the brave warriors tethered to the battlefield. The howling cries on the wind could not go ignored in what should be a land of joy and merrymaking. He created a mighty tornado that temporary scattered their enemies whilst calling to his warriors and those that had lost so much. Much of the land had larger clans that could defend themselves, and his people were proud to be able to hold their own when battling, but the Zephyr Steppes were a place of peace and playful winds. They were not to be torn and bloodied. The battles should take place among those warriors who chose to face them. From the spilled blood he created the living essences of the guardians that would protect the lands, from the spirits he implanted their passionate souls and passion to defend, and he coated their hides in the tears that were once shed. The tears crystallized, forming hardened suits of natural armor. Dubbed the Peacekeepers, they became a symbol of hope for the residents of the Steppes. Symbols of despair had been transformed into new life. The Peacekeepers were recognized by their antique golden wings, symbolizing justice. Their bodies were in the shades of the sky or the colours of the Windsinger. Battles could take place elsewhere, and the new clans in the Zephyr Steppes would grow to strength in safety. The steppes would be protected as the most peaceful place in the all the world. A place where all dragons from all flights were welcome to escape war and discover friendship. Lore

The Zephyr Steppes is the most peaceful place in all the world. At least until dragons continuing the battles of the gods interrupt that peace, sending new clans diving for cover.

This affects both those in physical proximity and those planning an invasion on a map. Because they focus on this very specialized magic, they do not often learn the typical attack and defense spells of a mage. Their calling is to create pockets of peace and they one day hope to gain enough numbers to make the entire Steppes distasteful to invaders. They are the fastest and have keen eyes. They often seem to have an innate ability to warm themselves better than other dragons, tolerating the icy cold of extreme altitudes. They act as the scouts of the Peacekeepers, patrolling the Steppes from the air, and speeding back to warn others of any trouble to large to be dealt with by a single dragon. Traveling lightly, they prefer to wear no heavy armor and no adornment that could flutter out and slow them down.   [columns][item=Sunguard Chest][item=Light Sprite][img]http://www1.flightrising.com/static/cms/equipment/13082.png[/img] [nextcol] [img]http://flightrising.com/dgen/preview/dragon?age=1&body=100&bodygene=7&breed=4&element=3&gender=1&tert=100&tertgene=17&winggene=8&wings=41&auth=e8727bd1f895d68a6931c3a9962335fabf1183f4&dummyext=prev.png[/img] [nextcol][item=Sacridite][item=Cloudy Feathered Wings][item=Grasslands Trunker][/columns] [b]Sentinels[/b] Stonewash and Spruce sentinels travel between outposts used by the scouts, guarding the mages who set up barriers to invaders. The sentinels have thus taken the mages health as their primary charge, though they also help maintain outposts and often have some power of farsight of their own. @Entei236 at this point they are all imaginary the combo of colour+gene is super rare for all, we are undergoing breeding projects now :)

@Kassiel I have a sales thread here right now for my seafoam pair: www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/1727088

If you are interested in other colours it may be a little while :) Some have 1 or even 0 dragons in existence so we are continuing to work on it.
