Lore:
Deepsea serpents make their home in the deep oceans of the dragon world. They are solitary dragons who explore all parts of the sea, especially at the deepest and darkest depths. That's when their spines come in handy - they emit a glow by will so that the dragon may be able to better see in the darkest waters. However, since this glow is controlled by the dragon's will, it can be dimmed down to nothing if necessary. Some deepsea serpents even have their clawtips and wingtips glow (which is quite in handling objects underwater).
Coloration matches their ocean environments, with their bodies mirroring dark waters and their wings imitating the currents' shadows. As they have long, snake-like bodies, their motion underwater easily intertwines with the sea's currents. The way they weave almost makes them appear to slip in and out of sight of the ocean's waves. It is why deepsea serpents are quite hard to see and find.
As they are explorers, many of the deepsea serpents collect the treasures they find, either in a separate hidden lair in the ocean or adorning their body (usually in the form of jewelry if it is the case). Some of the larger dragons are able to contend with underwater beasts (which leads to scarring in most brutal cases) while smaller dragons flee to safer waters when faced with danger.
Rarely, their scales can exhibit bioluminescence (poison gene) that can glow at will of the deepsea serpent. It also shows that they are more dangerous to any adversary as their spines will be poisonous to the touch - an added safety adaption due to their brightness underwater.

Tertiary: Metals - Lemon
Genes:
Primary: Tiger, Bar, Ripple, Savannah, Python
Secondary: Current, Safari, Morph
Tertiary: Spines
Lore:
Distantly related to Deepsea Serpents, Abyssmal Serpents are larger and much more dangerous. Territorial, they tend to be aggressive when approached. They would attack with teeth, claws, and spines to not only dissuade intruders but also prove their strength. As such, they do not need natural poison to keep away other dragons like Deepsea Serpents.
Since their habitat reaches to the very bottom of the ocean where no light can penetrate, their colors are also darker to match with their environment. Like Deepsea Serpents, their spines and claws can glow to attract prey and illuminate their surroundings. However, their spines can be of a duller variant as the light doesn't need to be as strong. Beautiful! I love golden spines as contrast! :D

I like the concept and colors. I wish I could help but the only dragon that might help is Sapphira, but she's a cry/fac/gem with splash/azure/navy colored imp.

Thank you! I'm especially excited on the types of contrast when the color wheel is officially expanded. =) Perhaps you would be interested in a hatchling from the pair?
@
XiyakaHex
No worries. The pair is actually RTB if you are interested in a hatchling. =)

Awesome! I just put them on a nest, and there are three eggs. =)
Btw, I am not sure what would be a good price for this subspecies. Do you have any recommendations.

Im out of lair space sadly! Maybe next time :)

Not sure I'm not really good at pricing hatchlings but maybe somewhere over 10k since its a specific sub species. Then again like I said I'm not good at pricing dragons maybe talk to someone in sales or in your flight forum for recommendations.
