The first thing he does is pull golden silk cloth out of a bag he drops at his feet, and only when his apparel is arranged to his satisfaction and the bag tossed to a table does he speak again. He gestures briefly down the stone steps of the amphitheater toward the stage, where several dragons are busy cleaning and moving various things. "Anyway. I'm Apollo, and welcome to our summer Sunbeam Showcase! It's going to be an absolutely fabulous fashion show, you know. Come with me, and I'll show you where everything is." He curls his tail around his pearl and strides off, barely stopping long enough to point around. "That table over there is for the judges; do be sure and stop by and read about our contest themes and the rules first, of course. Oh, and over there is where we're setting up the prizes, you'll want to have a look at those." He moves closer to the amphitheater's upper rim and stops. "Just be careful," he cautions, voice lowered. "We're only on the [i]edge[/i] of the Hewn City here, and this place was just ever so perfect for a stage. We're perfectly safe here, I assure you. Just...don't go deeper into the City." He nods decisively. "Well! I do still have quite a lot to do to prepare, so I'll let all of you go sign up now. [*]Members of all flights may participate, including Light. [*]One entry per theme per person. [*]Week-long themes can be entered at any point during the week. You will have until rollover on Saturday night, and late entries will not be counted. [*]Daily themes must be entered on the day of the theme. You will have until rollover on that day, and late entries will not be counted. [*]Please use a new post for each day you enter rather than editing previous posts to add new entries. That way my helpers and I don't have to look through the entire thread to find new entries. [*]Each theme will only have one winner. [*]Prizes will be sent out after all winners have been chosen.
