Lots of people name their dragons in reference to things! I want to see these dragons!
So here's the game:
* Go to the lair of the person above you.
* Find a dragon that you think has a reference. It can be the name, it can be the dragon colors, it can be their apparel or skin, it can be their familiar.
* Then post the image of the dragon, and something to support your claim of it being a reference to something...lyrics, book or song name or writer, link to the wikipedia, a gif or image, whatever.
Example: A pair of my dragons has an offspring named Sharra. While I named this dragon myself prior to selling, the new owner of this dragon put the forge tools on her.

His name's Menthe, and judging on the colours. Being chocolate and having the other two colours, he does remind me of a Creme de Menthe candy. I'm fairly sure that's the reference concerning him. Delicious dragon.

I take it he is named after [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osiris]Osiris[/url], the Egyptian God of the Underworld, afterlife and the dead. But also the flooding of the Nile and sprouting vegetation. He is also placed next to a dragon named Isis, who was Osiris' wife.

So with her colors and her being a Plague dragon I assume her name is a reference to her being a very evil dragon... fitting for the devil's (beelzebub's xD) Lair 8D

This here dragon is named Persephone, I assume after the Greek Goddess of same name. Persephone is Goddess of the Underworld and wife to Hades. She also reigns over spring, because while she is in Hades her mothers grief creates autumn and winter and when she returns it becomes summer.
