The smell of pollen wafted through, mingled with perfume and fresh air. Among the crowd sat a booth displaying hats, a dragon in the process of threading through fabric to create another one. They look up, flexing their short claws. “Hello there, friend!” They beamed with a bright enthusiasm. “Want a hat for a head? Or fancy flexing those fingers? Why not join our hatmaking event? Got some lovely-jubbly prizes, and you can make your hat however you please. Sounds alright in the night, don’t it?” The dragon’s claws drum the table, recalling their prior activity and collecting back their sewing needle, tongue poking out to resume stitching. Without looking up from their work they grinned, pleased with their near-completed work. They admired the hat’s progress and took the opportunity to stretch out their wings. They pushed forward a board of paper, nudging the inkpot and quill closer. “Yours if you need it, chum.”

Wind's Sky Racing Hat Making Event! As I am sure many of you are aware, hats are one of the main attractions in any racing event. Sorry racers! There's always an array of stunning hats in all shapes, colours and sizes and we believe Sornieth is no different. This event is all about unleashing your inner creativity and creating a hat fit for a dragon race day! This is a creative design, with optional role play, event with no stress or pressure involved, but rather fun, good times and friendly chatter![emoji=spiral tongue size=1] So now for some more details: [emoji=gust size=1] This event will start on the 30th June and end on the 6th July [emoji=gust soze=1] This event involves designing a hat through whatever medium you feel comfortable with and then posting a picture of it in this thread. Writers are also encouraged to enter as you can describe the hat in detail and include an optional role play snippet. On that thought, musicians can also enter if they'd like to! Why not write a song about a hat? :D [emoji=gust size=1] Role Play is optional but it does enable us to get into the spirit of hat making! How will your dragons react to the hats? This could mean, but is most certainly not limited to, mediums such as: - Digital art - Traditional art - Papier mache - Creative writing - Poetry - Pipe cleaners, paper and glue - Anything goes! [emoji=gust size=1] Once done with your masterpiece/s, post an image of it in this thread! You can choose to include an optional role play snippet of a dragon of yours wearing the hat. You can include an image of the dragon as well so we can have an idea of who is wearing it. Gosh you can even draw your dragon wearing the hat if you'd like to!
