My name is @suseonhwa and I came up with the idea of a flight rising zine with my friend, @arowanaprincess. We dragged our other friend, @inkedflight to our little group and now we’re looking for others to join us! [b]WHAT IS A ZINE?[/b] A zine is a short booklet, a collection of writing and or art usually centered around a theme. It may be made by one or two persons, or a collection of people coming together to create something for things they love and are passionate about! [b]HOW CAN I JOIN?[/b] Follow the blog and stay posted for our application forms! We’ll be opening them in late June and will stay open through early July, or longer. [b]WHAT WILL I GET IN RETURN FOR JOINING?[/b] Because there are real people working on Flight Rising and actually getting paid for it, we’re not exactly allowed to pay anyone for this fan made project. We will also take no credit over your work, nor will we stop you from leaving if you find that you can’t keep up with the schedule, which we already have a rough estimate of found in the right side bar. This is a passion project and the goal is to make stuff for something we love very much! It’s also a great way to meet people in the same community and get to know them, also maybe make some friends along the way. [b]IS THIS A FOR PROFIT OR NON PROFIT PROJECT?[/b] If it wasn’t clear enough in the last question. This is a NON PROFIT project. It is a free zine made for the viewing of everyone on FR! [b]WHAT TYPE OF ARTISTS ARE YOU ACCEPTING?[/b] We will be accepting content creators such as writers (poets, fiction writers, lore writers, speculative fiction, non fiction articles, etc.) and artists (digital painters, traditional drawers, watercolor artists, and more)! If we ever decide for the zine to be physical we will open applications for merchandise artists (likely to be keychains and stickers)! [b]WILL THERE BE NSFW?[/b] Flight Rising is friendly towards all ages, so we’d also like to emulate that! Meaning no NSFW. No Nudity. No explicit content. [b]WILL THERE BE GORE?[/b] No. See above question. [b]WILL THERE BE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS?[/b] Yes! We will allow human/humanoid Original Characters-if they are based off your Flight Rising dragons or familiars, and are recognizably so. If they are completely original and of your own making, then we’ll have to (sadly) turn them down. Though FR dragons based on your OCs will be accepted! [b]WILL THERE BE GIJINKAS?[/b] Yes! Include backgrounds as much as possible This does not include: ----Sketches ----Unfinished pieces and lineart only type drawings ----(drawings must be full colored illustrations - you may appeal re: art style/traditional pieces with filters.
