Any information shared here is already publicly available on Wikipedia.[/i][/sub] The Crisis Response Team (also known as the CRT) is a subsection of the international elite counter-terrorist group known as Team Rainbow. All of the CRT's Operators are trained as a part of Team Rainbow, but the CRT is designed for short-term operations. They are trained to eradicate threats at a very rapid pace, while Rainbow is better equipped to handle long-term threats and security. The CRT is best at sting operations, but are equipped and capable of handling non-attack type threats such as natural disasters. The CRT currently has [b]40[/b] members from 21 different counter-terrorist units (CTUs), from 19 different countries across the world. SWAT agents are specially trained to intervene in high-risk events like a hostage and barricade situations. The FBI maintains SWAT teams at each of its 56 field offices throughout the country varying in size up to about 42 members. In the event of a large-scale problem that local law enforcement does not have the resources to handle, FBI SWAT teams from the local field office, as well as outside the local region can be dispatched to aid the local authorities. This Australian Army's Special Forces unit consists of 4 Sabre Squadrons, and serves globally from counter-insurgency operations to special reconnaissance, humanitarian aid, and peace-keeping initiatives across the world.
