Yeehaw fan dragon centered lore. Most descriptions are taken straight from bloodborne. I also use some stuff from the wiki Important to note. Dragons in this story are anthro but more monstrous/other worldly ones aren't. All of my lore dragons will have art of what they look like in the story eventually Yharnam is a mysterious city tucked away in the mountains beside a giant lake. The city is famous for blood healing. The Church in Yharnam had blood could heal any aliment, any disease and that drew in dragons from far and wide. However, when anything that sounds too good to be true, it is. There was an unexpected consequence to the blood. It began turning dragons into monsters. The city is in a deep mess trying to deal with its beast plague. The Ancient Past

Before the age of dragons

An interesting note, an artifact called Ring of Betrothal was made by a Great One and imbued with some special meaning. In the age of the Great Ones, wedlock was a blood contract, only permitted to those slated to bear a special child.

Pthumeru

Long ago there was a thriving society called Pthumeru. These dragons lived in a land they called Loran and built beautiful cities. They were able to harness the power that came from the blood of the Great Ones. However, they were not careful with the blood and things went south. The Pthumerians eventually fell to madness and retreated deep into the tombs of the great ones. Eventually the city of Yharnam was built on top of the labyrinth after it was long forgotten.
