The green mirror, Emerald, and her fae mate, Solo, had their own little territory set in the Zephyr Steppes at the Windswept Plateau when their two eggs started to crack one by one in the sun rise on a beautiful morning.
A little fae girl along with her mirror sister hatched both healthy and strong. Emerald, however, knew already from the first sight that these two girls were going to serve as warriors by the Windsingers side when they’d eventually reach their adult state of life. Unfortunately after their leave, Solo soon left in sorrow after the loss of their offspring.
Emerald wandered around heavy hearted waiting for her mate to return until she found herself a new mate. Kane, a Piebald male wildclaw, caught her attention and soon they were blessed with three new eggs. A mirror brother and sister hatched only months after their eggs were laid.
While Emerald raised and nursed for the little mirrors, she was also concerned about the remaining egg in the nest. One day however, the light green eggshell suddenly started to crack open. It turned out to be a strong little male wildclaw and they named him Kai.
A few months passed and the mirror siblings traveled out to serve the Windsinger, just like their older half siblings had done it. Kai however, stayed with his mother and father. Eventually, they came to the realization that there was nothing left for them in the Windswept Plateau and they soon packed their treasure and dearest belonging and set their journey towards the Viridian Labyrinth.

Kane and Emerald unfortunately chose to stay in Dragonhome after a rough travel through the Scarred Wastelands suffering dehydration during the hot path through the Abiding Boneyard.
Kai chose to continue the adventure as planned with all the support from both of his parents and finally reached the Viridian Labyrinth. In the Shrieking Wilds he found himself surrounded by life and fellow wildclaws and he felt a nice sense of belonging.
Kai would hunt together with other wildclaws, grow stronger and learn the different tactics along with a lot of wildclaw culture in his new home. He especially grew fond of a small pack of piebald wildclaws with opal cracked skin. He was fascinated by the sun making the opal shine bright as gemstones and often found himself just staring at it from a distance, mesmerized.
The temper and behavior of these piebald friends seemed to fit very well with his own personality because of his father's genes. One day, a nearby alchemist reached out to Kai and offered him the same genes as his dearest friends. He wanted nothing in return except for his grandchildren to grow up in a safe place. Kai accepted the offer and swore to protect his offspring. He was then given the piebald gene along with painted wings and last but not least the beautiful opal which the sun loved to cast its bright rays through.
Kai kept his promise and helped raising the old alchemist's grandchildren, Arkinus and Kanyon. They were just as adventurous as himself and quite bold. As the friendship developed and the hatchlings grew into young adults, they felt ready to challenge life and eventually decided to leave their current home behind and head towards Dragonhome to spread their roots and grow a pack of their own at some point.

The three wildclaws enjoyed their journey, relaxing in the day hours and hunting during the nights. The journey itself only lasted a couple of weeks since they had a lucky travel without any Beastclan encounters.
They reached the pillar of the world where dragons who seek meaning often go to put their life in a perspective and get some answers. Here, they met and ice born dragon who seemed to have an immensely rich temper but at the same time he was very strong and resolute.
He was just as determined to assemble a pack as they were and they made a deal. Since neither of the three piebald males had any knowledge or experience in leading a pack, they didn’t want a rank that implied any of that. Therefore, Kai, Arkinus and Kanyon agreed upon joining the ice born dragon as pack members as long as he’d promise to be a fair leader towards them as well as future members.
The piebalds should act as hunters and warriors until the ice born dragon had found a mate. Eventually, a mate would make it possible to settle down and create a home with the possibility of nesting future generations safely. Also, they wanted to seek a place where they would be able to gather and dig for treasures and artifacts with value to them all. Therefore, they set their sails towards the Southern Icefield, down through the Scarred Wastelands towards the cold unknown.
The ice born dragon went under the name Panic, however, nowone really got to know his real name. The ice cold leader seemed to know just what he wanted, and treated the other three members with pure respect. They didn’t encounter any problems until they reached the Scarred Wastelands.

At the Rotrock Rim, they stumbled upon and Serthis Beastclan tribe. They didn’t put much thought into it until they had killed a couple of them and the rest of them seemed to flee. They realized they had run right into the remains of a huge fight between a plague dragon clan and the Serthis tribe. Unfortunately, a lot of dragon cadavers surrounded the four of them and the scene was bloody. The smells filling the foggy air around them was toxic and thick.
A weak screech filled the air and it went right down Kai’s spine. Panic however, went to look for whatever had made the noise and he soon discovered a hurt female coatls with the same bright antique colors as himself. His eyes were filled with empathy and concern as he took the wounded female coatl on his back and went back to the others. The coatl was surprising small for her species but he had assessed her to have a chance of surviving and didn’t want to leave her behind risking the Serthis Beastclan would return and finish their last victim.
They looked to her wounds and made sure to hunt for and extra member as they moved on with their plans. The coatl, Meraxes, were recovering well and her and Panic seemed to bond in a way the others couldn’t keep up with. They eventually accepted her as a member and she became Panic’s mate after a couple of weeks had passed. They were now ready to settle at their end destination - the Southern Icefield.

Before a hunter gets approved in the clan, he or she has to go to the Molten Scar and forge their own first weapon (whether it being a sword, axe, cleaver, arrow etc.) the place is extremely hot and it’s not rare to encounter manticore Beastclan members, however, it’s usually a very honorable and desired challenge.
The Zephyr Steppes are one of the best places to start off training the hunters because of the flat landscape and the wide expanses which gives the younger wildclaws plenty of space to trial and error during practice and possibly find their personal familiar as well since the clan hunters usually are accompanied by a familiar. The clan used to be quite attached to these lands because of its origins in the wind flight as well.
The Reedcleft Ascent is a well known place to gather resources and materials. Sometimes a gatherer will be sent to the Reedcleft Ascent to gather a couple of things on the clan Alchemist’s behalf, however, some herbalists enjoy the bamboo, sugarcane and various other plants and grains growing on these higher grounds. Only mature dragons are allowed to make the trips up these cliffs though, since the winds higher up the ascent can be tough.
The Gladeveins is like a second home to the piebald members of the clan. It’s a very popular place for the gatherers to take their hatchlings when they’re old enough to make the trip safely. In the earliest days of the clan, it was their roots, however, it has turned into a place where the oldest members of the clan can retire and rest. A lot of the younger gatherers as well as herbalists and seamstresses seek the place as well to develop their skills and discover their strengths in a calm environment filled with life and colors.
The Sandswept delta is located on the border between The Tangled Wood and Sunbeam Ruins. This sandy spot with a small stream and a tropical environment is very popular among the clan alchemist and gatherers since the Serthis Beastclans often leave various materials and chemical resources which helps the alchemist discovering new recipes for the cauldron. It can be very dangerous to make the journey all alone though due to the great amount of serthises so a team of minimum 3 is required to gather safely.

Panic has a true passion for rare treasures and whenever he sees a treasure chest or even just something shiny like a gemstone or any type of jewel/diamond he’ll be mesmerized by it almost instantly - it’ll create a sudden glimpse of interest in his eye like a European magpie's. The idea behind these chests were that while dragons desperately searched for them, the deities could work on Sornieth and their intern disputes without being interrupted by demanding dragons all the time. The chests were so popular that all of them were either dug up or scavenged eventually before anyone knew, and over time everyone forgot about them.
Only some traders got to know which precious items the treasure chests kept inside them and where they went. Some dragons even think there might still be chests out there undiscovered and unopened, others speculate that there might be a black market keeping or hiding some of the chests somewhere, selling them for crooked currency.
Either way, ever since Panic was told this story, he has had a fascination for chests and treasures. Therefore, the main aim for the clan is to look for and discover chests of all kinds along with precious items such as minerals, metals, gems and crystals - everything that might resemble shiny and colorful treasures will please Panic’s huge pile of treasures.
During festivals, most of the clan will work as gatherers except the traders depending on their location. The Cairnstone Rest in Dragonhome and the Cloudscrape Crags in the Southern Icefield are among Panic’s most preferred places to scavenge or dig since they’re usually the most safe places to look for chests and the Longneck Beastclans are relatively passive as long as they’re left alone and treated with respect.

However, he has grown more empty and hopeless. Some nights, he’ll be the last one leaving the tunnels in the Cloudscrape Crags. He'll be working for hours just restlessly continuing the search.

Following are the content of the pack/clan's vault
Food
Delicate Bat Wing
Meat
This fragile wing doesn't have much meat on it; certainly not enough for a whole meal.
40
5
Meaty Bat Wing
Meat
The arm portion of this gnarled wing is thick with muscle. It would make a fine feast for a hatchling.
40
5
Blue Jelly
Plant
This block of jelly takes on the taste and characteristics of whatever it is cooked in.
33
3
Green Jelly
Meat
Difficult to classify.
33
3
Berry and Nut Trail Bar
Plant
A preserved stick of pressed berries and nuts.
39
4
Longneck Winter Rations
Plant
These dried oats have been saturated with so much corn syrup that the bar is no longer particularly healthy...
39
4
Wartoad Trainee
Meat
The only war this tadpole will be fighting is the war against hunger.
450
17
Molten Tadpole
Meat
Molten Wartoad spawning grounds are easy to spot; look for pools of water surrounded by steam.
450
17
Flatback Sea Turtle
Meat
These turtles are plentiful off the coasts of the Viridian Labyrinth, where nature dragon culture expressly forbids eating hatchlings that make the annual gauntlet from their beached nests to the water's edge.
380
13
Leatherback Sea Turtle
Meat
Though the shell of this turtle is actually edible as a type of jerky, it is more commonly dried for usage as a bowl or platter.
380
13
Sublime Peacock
Meat
This sienna-colored fowl is hunted for its unique tail feathers, the hues of which can drastically shift over the course of several years.
40
4
Jade Peacock
Meat
The tragic jade peacock has a lifespan of about two and a half years, most of which is spent nearly entirely featherless. To make matters worse, in the time of their life that these birds gain their plumage is also when they are the most tasty.
45
4
Ghostcrab
Seafood
This crab haunts beaches, not dragons.
30
3
Seashore Digger
Seafood
The tunnels created by diggers can become vast labyrinths. An unwary dragon may find the ground beneath their claws is not as solid as they thought.
30
3
Deepdiver Penguin
Meat
Though they are capable of surviving the icy temperatures and crushing pressure of the deep, these penguins typically don't survive the predators found down below.
300
10
Emperor Penguin
Meat
Flocks of emperor penguins will huddle together for warmth against frigid temperatures. Tundra dragons frequently attempt to huddle with them, to mixed results.
300
10
Spectral Bat
Meat
Not a whole lot of the extraordinary here. Just a spooky bat.
37
4
Vampire Bat
Meat
In a stunning display of irony, this critter feeds primarily on duskflapper blood.
37
4
Acid Widow
Insect
Didn't think it was possible to make a spider even worse? Nature has been severely underestimated.
37
4
Cinder Creeper
Insect
This gleaming black spider is undeterred by even the harshest heat. Swarms are frequently seen crawling in and out of smoldering trees or shrubs.
37
4
Giant Oarfish
Seafood
These oddball fish can grow to be eighty feet long and are hardly ever seen unless they die and float to the surface. Water dragons consider it a feast if one can be caught alive.
360
13
Oarfish
Seafood
Finding an oarfish is where the challenge begins. Digesting them is where it ends.
360
13
Rat Tangle
Meat
No one's entirely sure how this happened, though there are a suspicious number of them in The Waterway.
320
11
Pale Prince
Meat
Keep growing, and someday you will be a king...
320
11
Rhinoceros Beetle
Insect
This robust beetle makes a startling screeching noise when disturbed. You've been warned.
290
10
Lesser Bluehorn
Insect
This massive beetle has one of the hardest shells in existence, making it a real chore to break apart and eat. Might as well have called it Crab Dinner Beetle.
290
10
Salted Game
Meat
A choice cut of game, salted and preserved. Enjoy after a nice sear or, y'know, in one raw gulp.
25
3
Bundle of Haunchmeat
Meat
A successful haul of haunchmeat, ready to be consumed by a hungry clan.
75
10
Spotted Stingray
Seafood
A Spotted Stingray can be as daunting a foe to a Fae dragon as a Mantarune is to a Guardian.
475
18
Coral Dweller
Seafood
It takes skill to successfully catch a coral dweller without getting stung.
475
18
Blue-footed Gull
Meat
They are actually purple.
43
5
Southern Gull
Meat
Despite what it may tell you, this gull knows nothing of mane-care.
42
4
Cursed Batling
Meat
This batling was destined to meet an unfortunate end: Prophecy fulfilled!
26
3
Runic Batling
Meat
This was an odd thing to enchant.
26
3
Royal Oyster
Seafood
The more pearls these oysters produce, the higher they advance in their incongruous society. This one was a princess, which for some unfathomable reason makes it more tempting to dragons.
62
7
Devilsnap
Seafood
It is recommended not to put nose, claw, or tail into a live Devilsnap, or the food chain becomes a bit topsy-turvy.
62
7
Olympia Oyster
Seafood
A delicacy fit only for the gods. Dragons are advised to eat quickly, before theirs notices!
62
7
Weasel
Meat
It was not able to weasel its way out of this one.
62
7
Ferret
Meat
It's a fine treat to ferret out this lunch.
62
7
Ermine
Meat
Ermine now.
62
7
Overflowing Fishbasket
Seafood
A wicker basket just crammed with fresh-caught seafood. What a haul!
75
10
Bountiful Fishnet
Seafood
A wriggling net full of an assortment of fresh-caught fish.
25
3
Teeming Loghive
Insect
You will never find a more fetching hive of thrummin' psylla-fleas.
75
10
Buzzing Rotwood
Insect
Several families of crawlies have made their homes in this rotting branch, pockmarked with holes and hideaways.
25
3
Muskrat
Meat
Found thriving in the Gladeveins of the Viridian Labyrinth, this large rodent usually wades in the aqueducts looking for fish, frogs, or crayfish to eat. (Special thanks to AlligatorFeet.)
90
9
Dustrat
Meat
Seeing a Dustrat should be taken as a hint to clean your lair. (Special thanks to CountingChocobos.)
90
9
Brindle Muskrat
Meat
The brindle pattern of its coat provides far superior camouflage than that of a regular muskrat. Unfortunately, the smell still gives it away. (Special thanks to Geliril.)
90
9
Longfin Urchinbane
Seafood
While many species of cardinalfish will coexist with urchins, the longfin population will harass and clear the area of them. They are considered a nuisance-fish by many dragons.
63
7
Blackwater Jester
Seafood
The antics of blackwater jester schools makes them a popular choice for fishkeepers, and a popular snack for their inconsiderate lair-mates.
63
7
Cardinalfish
Seafood
These schooling fish are commonly found in lush coral reefs and seagrass beds.
63
7
Bloodfin Snakehead
Seafood
Frequently confused for a much more dangerous serpent.
64
8
Cobra Snakehead
Seafood
Many a dragon has been startled when this fish appears in the water.
64
8
Golden Snakehead
Seafood
Snakeheads breathe the air directly through a primitive lung, allowing them to live in waters other fish would be smothered in.
64
8
Spotted Seabeak
Seafood
Very few parts of this bright animal are edible raw, but if cooked in a creamy broth its natural toxins can be neutralized.
41
4
Ragesquid
Seafood
If one manages to ever catch these speedy creatures, they're in for quite the treat. Purple is the real new food trend.
41
4
Pufferfish
Seafood
The pufferfish holds the top place on the 'Maybe Not Even Worth Eating' list.
62
6
Brack Bloat
Seafood
While most types of pufferfish use their ability to expand as a natural defense if outnumbered, this species is more commonly seen bumping around clumsily with its own kind like a cluster of spiked balloons.
62
6
Golden Cushionfish
Seafood
This fish's name is an oxymoron. But go ahead, don't believe it.
62
6
Silver Raccoon
Meat
This nuisance is actually named for its propensity to steal and hoard silver ore and trinkets rather than for the color of its reflective steely coat.
65
7
Raccoon
Meat
These mischievous critters are far more likely to eat through a lair's food stores than become a meal themselves. Delicious if you manage to catch one though!
65
7
Nooccar
Meat
Really, field researcher? That's the name you went with?
65
7
1st Anniversary Fish Cake
Seafood
About as appetizing as it sounds. (Happy 1st Anniversary, Flight Rising!)
500
25
1st Anniversary Stolen Cake
Insect
For some dragons, this cake has been ruined; for others, it has been enhanced! (Happy 1st Anniversary, Flight Rising!)
500
25
1st Anniversary Leaf Cake
Plant
May be used to trick hatchlings into eating their vegetables. (Happy 1st Anniversary, Flight Rising!)
500
25
1st Anniversary Meat Cake
Meat
First Anniversary Meat Cake. Just repeat those words and think about them for a second. What does that even mean. (Happy 1st Anniversary, Flight Rising!)
500
25
Stubby Squid
Seafood
Diminutive in stature, mighty in flavor.
58
5
Dumpling Squid
Seafood
Amazing when dipped in a tangy sauce.
58
5
Brilliant Bobtail Squid
Seafood
These squid telegraph their emotions through a series of bioluminescent displays. No dragon has ever seen the display that indicates happiness.
58
5
Blue Ring Octopus
Seafood
Considered quite the feat to catch and eat, these octopuses are caught by foolish young dragons seeking to impress their friends. One mistake can be fatal, as the venom of these creatures is powerful and can be fatal to smaller dragons.
50
6
Inky Octopus
Seafood
The ink sacs in this species make up 20% of its body weight. While the ink is not poisonous, it has a foul taste and is not usually eaten.
50
6
Red Octopus
Seafood
The name 'Red Octopus' is a bit misleading, as they are known to change color and are rarely red.
50
6
Dwarf Octopus
Seafood
Dwarf Octopuses may live for two decades, far longer than their larger counterparts.
50
6
Isopod
Seafood
When threatened they curl into a defensive ball, their tough outer carapace protecting their vulnerable underbelly.
55
7
Glass Isopod
Seafood
Unlike their more common cousins, the shells of the glass isopod are fragile and shatter if dropped.
55
7
Giant Isopod
Seafood
When cooked it vaguely resembles lobster in appearance. When eaten it tastes nothing like lobster.
55
7
Abyss Vulture
Seafood
Abyss Vultures scavenge carrion off the seabed. They are not picky eaters. Today you eat Abyss Vulture, years from now Abyss Vulture eats you...
55
7
