Creative Corner

Hello, hello! This is just a little thread for me to post ideas for skins and accents to go into my shop. Feel free to look around and give critique or ideas, I heavily appreciate anything! You're also welcome to just simply post interest for them, and if you want me to ping you if that skin ever becomes a thing. I prefer to work where I can receive feedback as I go, rather than only at the end; and with the constant flux of new ideas I get, I'd rather not spam the Skins and Accents forums with numerous WIPs. So it's all contained here. Not all of these will ever be completed, though, but the chances of one being finished skyrockets even if a single person says they want one. :) So don't be afraid to post! This first post will be a sort of introduction-type deal; each individual idea will have its own post, and I'll add links to them as the pages grow. Each skin will only have that post, however, so what you see there is the most updated WIP! These are looking so cool! ('v')

The detail of the branch up the wing and the roots reaching down on Wisteria is really nice, and I especially like the bit hanging off the tail.

Peacock Witch also intrigues me. Are the details of the feathers going to be colored like peacock feathers, or colored by the dragon's genes? Also, the spots on the wrists are a really nice touch. It looks like it could be really cool if/when you ever finished it.

Portal to the Sky is awesome, I like the gold border around the edge of the wings especially, it makes it seem so polished. And what the portal is looking into is really cool (you can never go wrong with space)!

And finally, Romanticised is amazing! I love how the wings become branches. The red moon is beautiful, and I like the juxtaposition of the purple stuff (definitely a technical term there) at the bottom, the top and bottom balance each other out really well, especially with the swords dividing it (and the fae, lol).

Lol, some of that was probably too repetitive, but I couldn't help but gush compliments! \(^v^)/ These are really awesome WIPs!

Thank you very much for all the compliments! :D I needed some after the mess of yesterday ;-; At least Romanticised is one of the best ideas I've had in a while, I'm anxious to get back to working on it. I need to add just a bit more contrast between the clouds and branches (and probably darken the doll, I seem to like making details that are similar in color to it)

And to answer the question on Peacock Witch; the feathers are going to be white, however the heart-shaped area on each feather will be colored by the dragon below! :0
