We're moving clans! Well, not clans, but regions! I've grown tired of the awful stench here and the disgusting scenery. I think Curacao is going to take it quite harshly. He's paranoid and afraid that he'll get stepped on. I'm not sure why, though. All I know is that he's terrified of Snappers. He's never let them into the clan, never let them anywhere near the clan. We're headed to Dragonhome so... hopefully he can get over that fear. My family is distraught to see me move so far away. I know my mother already misses my sister, Prisma. She's always kept her hatchlings so close, I hope she'll be alright. I promised I'd write to her, but... I'm not sure if a dragon is willing to go into the Scarred Wasteland just to deliver a measly letter. Let's hope so. Perhaps we can find a clan courier. Ross left so... we don't have anyone else at the moment. Look at me, writing away. I should keep packing. Curacao hasn't left my head. It's making it hard to see. All he can see is Snappers. He's only hallucinating, the poor thing. The closest thing we have to a snapper is Mr. L, and it's just because he snaps at people. He's not even that big. He would like me to note that he's not done growing yet. Regardless, I've found Greatwyrm's Breach welcoming. It's cool and dry and doesn't smell like a dragon died, so it's easier on my nose. Acklins doesn't know why I haven't gone noseblind to it yet. You can't go noseblind to something if you smell something new every five seconds. But this crevasse was perfect for our clan. We're used to living underground in a ravine, so this is great. We're in one of the brances that goes underground. It's quite dark, but we have Castaway lighting candles for us. She doesn't like it. Despite all the head-hugging and sneezing from the dust, I have high hopes for this new life.[i]
----- {Previous} | {Next}

Three healthy eggs, all ready to hatch in a few days' time. L and I are so excited! I wish I took care of the hatchlings, but being with Acklins on lookout duty is all I really need, other than seeing Barbuda after my shift. I do hardly get to talk to Acklins though, especially as the clan settles in. He says they're letting their guard down but we have enough guards around here, I think. It makes me sad to know that a lot of dragons are leaving the clan. I was getting used to it being so cozy. Curacao has even threatened to leave, but I honestly don't think he'd go anywhere without Nassau. The clan is tense, but I think that the batch of hatchlings is going to ease everyone's fear a little. The neighboring clans, @emspacefeathers and @ReyFairchild, have been very kind to us and have welcomed us with gifts. @shroudrat and @sublimevoide have been good to us also, paying for services, mostly Artistico's services. Through careful observation, I've learned that the leader is not very good of a leader. He is cowardly and does not leave his mate's side. He is too paranoid to make good decisions and would be better off taking care of hatchlings. Even that he would mess up. The leader's mate is much more suited for his role, but keeps quiet. I know she knows she is better suited for his position. There is a group of Wildclaws and one Nocturne that come and go from the clan to eat and sleep occasionally. I haven't learned their names, but I will soon.
