[font=consolas][size=5][b]Calling Of The Stars[/b][/size] A Pinkerlocke Deciding the Fate of My Clan[/font] ----- [columns]From three eggs were born the stars of this story: Polaris, Vega, and Deneb. They were at the centre of a constellation of divine movement, most of which they would never know or understand. Born to a mother who was a goddess to her clan, Inna was revered and her children were legends the moment they hatched. Inna received a message from the Flamecaller – if these children were to be proven [i]worthy[/i], they would have to pass several trials and tests. Without hesitation, the children’s mother agreed. She would cast her babies aside, certain they would be under the Flamecaller’s protection, sure they would find their way back to her – to their home, and join their mother by her side as immortals in their clan. Protective father, Theodore, secretly employed a scout to follow his children – for though he trusted his mate completely, his faith in their deity did not match hers. Young Sage would follow the three, staying behind them by an hour but always able to see where they were. Theodore would ensure their children were watched from a distance – eyes on them but not interfering. Others took up a similar journey, the clan in a constant state of motion like the heavens themself. Alone, Inna’s heart wore the molten scar of her children leaving, but her faith in the Flamecaller was unshakable. She would see her duty through. And, most crucially, all nuzlocke activity corresponds with the loot you obtain daily from Pinkerton's plundered pile! Optional sentimental rule: If a dragon reaches level 25 it "retires". It can join the ranks of your main lair.* *Seeing as my challenge is the finding of a new deity for my clan, I will be calling off the pickerlocke in the event of a dragon reaching this level. Trust me it will be absolute ages until we even get to level 10 with this group. Running from battles, using health potions, and ending the battle streak is fine, as I explained above. Materials -or- Trinkets: Writing or art ~ art will most likely be colouring in pre-made free dragon bases, because I have no skill to actually draw anything >> Familiars: Buy the cheapest dragon in the auction house of a specific breed. Fight in the coliseum using the "food" rules 10 rounds consecutively (ie. you cannot leave that arena), quitting midway if a dragon dies. [center][font=consolas][size=4][b]DAY ONE[/b][/size] [item=Windstroked Silk Whitetail] [font=monospace]Lore/Writing and a smol Sketch Because of Boredom Where Theodore is unsure of Inna's True Intents[/font][/center] Perhaps saying Inna was close to her children was an understatement. The skydancer could not be seen frowning when her three hatchlings were nearby. Polaris loved all the attention he got, being called a mother’s boy- born to become a warrior- and ready to help the clan the second Inna let him out of her arms. No one really expected the mother to suddenly ignore every movement the triplets took. Theodore, the father, was the first to notice the strange behavior- talking to his mate while the kids played outside. He approached her as she was cleaning up the living room, humming a lullaby she had sang to the hatchlings when they hadn’t even hatched. Theodore asked her why she had to be so distant, so cold, to those she loved lately. The leaf colored skydancer simply brought her gaze to the floor, tears threatening to fall as she mumbled an apology. “Flamecaller came to me in a vision.” The dragon finally came clean, “This is the only thing I can do. They have a chance to be like me, like the eleven even. They could be the start of something great, Theo. I cannot interfere.” The wildclaw was in shock, his mouth gaping at the thought of the love of his life giving up their children’s childhood to let them become [i]deities[/i] that may never get to see her again. The father had to “interfere”, he was not a deity like Inna after all. He went out, looking for three dragons he knew he could trust, rounding up the snapper, nocturne, and coatl. [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/0e2HPHm.png[/img][/center] “I am sorry sir, but they were all away- I’m here!” A small coatl exclaimed, her feathers fluffing up in excitement at the thought of helping her mentor. “I know you are Sage, but you are far too young. You are not as experienced as Fern, Philomel or Mae in the arts of spying.” Theodore nearly laughed. “I have much to teach you yet young coatl!” The cream colored dragon slumped, her head nodding as she turned around and started walking away. The brightly colored wildclaw could not help but feel sympathy for his apprentice, knowing exactly what it felt like to be treated as something less than what you really were. He sighed loudly, calling the girl back and sitting her near the many birch trees nearby. “Do you, Sage, believe you are ready for your first quest. To watch, protect, and escort three possible deities from afar to save this clan?” Theodore smiled, “There will be treachery, hardships, and perhaps you will see fights, but you may not help the triplets.” Sage perked up quickly, her mane of feathers rising until she looked like a tundra who had been caught in a windstorm, “Yessir!” “Then I will see to your adventure. Keep a journal, child, and tell me of your encounters. Go to Sequoia for travelling herbs, and Comet for a set of tools and weapons.” Theodore’s voice boomed as he continued, “Do not tell Inna of this mission, simply sign up for the event of this season. I put my trust in you, Ivystinger, make me and your clan proud.”

for new readers, and jasper <3

After a very long hiatus- I will continue the Pinkerlocke. Instead of updating everyday, I will update every other day (excluding the weekend), meaning Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hopefully I can get longer pieces of writing in my spare days, but don't count on it. Thankfully I have not leveled my pinker dergs, so I can start with them being smol kiddos who can't fight.
