The Cast
(Cast includes dead characters. To avoid spoilers, don’t click the images unless you wish to find out if they’re exalted or not.)
SANDSNEK
The disgruntled son of a warrior and a traitor, Sandsnek is always the one left alone and untrusted. He decided to leave his clan and strike out on his own for a better life.
HOPE
Hope is a very paranoid dragon, never revealing her secrets to anyone. None know who she used to be, and she certainly doesn’t want to talk about it, which is why she is currently pursuing a fresh start.
ALCHEMY
They called Alchemy mad; accusing her of dealing with the Shade and practicing dark magic. She denied these claims but left the clan nonetheless, seeking something beyond the hopeless darkness of her past life.
LOKI
The charming yet deceiving guard from a mysterious tribe. He fled to supposedly save three misfits, but since no one knows his full story, it’s hard to say for sure.
RUBY
Ruby is a stoic guardian who does not put up with any tricks and will not take no for an answer. The only thing that is truly known about her is that she has a strong dislike for Loki (and the feeling is mutual).
ICHOR
Rather narcissistic as far as dragons go, Ichor feels entitled to the highest treatment that one can give. His ego would give a pearlcatcher a run for their money. He can be very protective of those he’s close to, but self protection is important too, right?
ANUBIS
A charismatic fae who makes an excellent leader and would also be a charming talk show host. Despite her dubious name, she’s actually fairly sweet, even if impulsive and stubborn as well.
SHADESNEK
Shadesnek is clever, like her father, grandmother, and great-grandfather before her. She knows what needs to be done, how to do it, and is willing to go through with almost anything.
BANANA
A very optimistic spiral who loves coffee and would die if someone handed him a Red Bull. Seriously, no one but his siblings can handle his hyperactivity. Oh, and his parents, too. Kind of.
DYSTOPIA
While he definitely has a dark side, Dystopia is fairly neutral when it comes to opinions or moral views. He is shaped heavily by the world around him, but can be stubborn. Just don’t get on his bad side.
RODENT AND RAPIER
These (previously) almost identical twins are prime for crime, and a kidnapping seems like a great way to start their day. To make matters worse, it’s very confusing when you’re trying to decide who’s Rodent and who’s Rapier. Back when they looked alike, introductions were brief, so maybe you should... guess?
FEAR
Fear claims to be Hope’s sister, but there are a lot of questionable things about her. First of all, she says she’s been hunting Hope for twenty years or so, but she can’t be any older than twenty five. What’s going on???
AATA
Aata is one of the most powerful mages you’ll ever meet. However, she suffers from a split-personality disorder that will cause her to occasionally attack anyone in sight. Oh, and she’s Loki’s adoptive sister. Minor detail.
XENIA
Out of everyone in the cast, Xenia might be the most relatable, or just plain likable. He tries so hard to be extroverted, but he’s hopelessly awkward around others. Back at his old clan, he was an arcane mage and combat trainee. Nowadays, he’s a wanderer bound for the Southern Icefield.
AETHER
A rogue who likes to play things hard and fast, Aether is no stranger to trouble. She hails from the mirror clan Spina and would die for anyone in her clan, as they would for her. While she may play nice at first, don’t be fooled; she is willing to take you down.
