It all started as a traveling clan composed of lone dragons looking for a new home. Their first permanent settlement was founded by the lone dragons and their leader, Arius. It was located in the Starwood Strand of Arcane territory. Their population grew, and they built their empire from the ground up; the Empire even formed an alliance with a local centaur herd. However, a rogue group of centaurs attacked the dragon's lair, effectively driving them out of the land. One centaur, --, went along with them and now acts as their ambassador for local centaur herds. Their new territory in the Viridian Labyrinth consists of miles of meadow, forest, and a rocky, crystal-fused holy land perfect to worship deities. Scouts flying ahead were entranced by the glowing stones among the mountain, and landed to check it out. The ground pulsed with magic, and the group of dragons, many devoted to the Arcanist, deemed it the perfect place to worship their deities. [/i] [/columns] [columns] [i]The nighttime views of the land are the favorite of many dragons in the empire. Fireflies find their way into the dark forest, and the mountains containing the Divinity Grounds casts a gentle glow on the valley below. Many special occasions in the clan are held at night, such as the Yule Feast.[/i][nextcol][img]https://i.imgur.com/Bm9rB89.gif[/img][/columns] [columns][img]https://i.imgur.com/mz9zekr.gif[/img][nextcol][i]Most of the empire consists of shady trees, grassy meadows, and fields of flowers. The clan enjoys the parts of the territory that are guarded by trees for protection when they go hunting or gathering. They prefer to have their homes and town in the meadow, where they have excellent aerial views and can see anyone flying overhead. Crystals grow from the hard ground, glowing to create a beautiful atmosphere under the night sky. The Divinity Grounds are to only be visited at night. Going is optional, and many dragons in the clan find visiting the grounds to be very personal, going either alone or with one they greatly trust and care for. Whoever dragons choose to worship at the grounds is up to them. ----- [size=4]Clan Leader's Home[/size] [size=2]The clan leader's home is the biggest home on the territory, as he stores valuable information and record about the clan. Arius never cared about decorating, or making the place nice at all. It was almost always dark, gloomy, and overrun by cobwebs. It lacked items that truly made a home, such as paintings, proper lighting, and extra furniture. It wasn't until Taro came along that things changed. He acted like a light both in Arius' life and his home, bringing splashes of color into the once-dreary mansion. Now Arius can't imagine living in conditions he once had. ----- [size=4]Town Square[/size] [size=2]The main plaza is located near the entrance of the territory. It is here that meetings are held every moon. During the meetings, a brief overview of upcoming events and plans are presented, and dragons can talk and express complaints or worries to their leader. Some events that The Wildflower Empire celebrate within the lunar year include the element holidays, Founding Day, Yule, Equinox, and even something they call Cake Day.[/size] ----- [size=4]Training Arena[/size] [size=2]After a Beastclan group ran the dragons out of their previous home, Arius had the clan focus heavily on training. Most of the clan consists of Tundras and Skydancers, or types of dragons that commonly use magic attacks rather than physical. Therefore, the clan specializes in magic attacks and has a very advanced sorcery program in the Scholar Center. But Arius also requires that each dragon have proper physical combat training as well. He hopes to keep his clan safe, and not let the past repeat itself. [/size] ----- [size=4]Scholar Center[/size] [size=2]Every dragon must attend school at the Scholar Center at least once in their lives. All young dragons must go to primary school, where they will learn basic magic, maths, and history. Primary school is taught by Jin and his assistant (and former student) Athos. Once a student completes their primary schooling, they have the option to continue their education under Alchemist, the headmaster. Alchemist spent his early years mastering subjects such as magic, potions, alchemy, and more. [/size] ----- [size=4]Nursery & Hatchery[/size] [size=2]Howl and Sophie watch over both the nesting grounds and the nursery. Hatchlings spend a lot of time in the beginning with their parents, but during the day they stay in the nursery so they can be around other hatchlings and learn valuable lessons.[/size] ----- [size=4]Tavern & Kitchen[/size] [size=2]The Tavern is a popular spot for dragons to hang out in the evenings after a long day. It provides drinks of different kinds and even a small amount of meals. For heartier meals, dragons go to the kitchen. It acts as one big cafeteria for the clan, serving meals during mealtimes for everyone. Many dragons work in the kitchen to make sure everyone is fed, including Venus and Moss, the head chefs. They disagree on many food subjects, being different species and having different palettes, but when they work together and get along, the food they make is legendary. [/size] ----- [size=4]Library[/size] [size=2]The library is a tall, winding brick tower that contains stories, poems, records, textbooks, and more. Theo is the main librarian, as well as a noteworthy writer in the clan.[/size] ----- [size=4]Healer's Den[/size] [size=2]The Healer's Den belongs to a blind Tundra names Ryuu. He learned well under his mentor, but is now the sole healer after his mentor's passing. The den has everything one would need for medicine and poultices: Feverfew, peppermint, chickweed, and more. Learning his trade has been more difficult for Ryuu than it has others, due to his loss of sight. But he has worked hard, and always has both his older brother and his mate there for him. [/size] ----- [size=4]Gardens & Beehives[/size] [size=2]The Gardens and Beehives are looked over by a dragon named Rowan. The gardens contain many staples to the dragons' diets that they are not able to collect in Alder Woods, including dozens of different plants and berries. From the beehives they get honey, honeycomb, and beeswax. [/size] ----- [size=4]Watchtowers[/size] [size=2]Many dragon's duties are to take shifts watching over the territory in watchtowers, as well as doing regular rounds around the borders.[/size] ----- [size=4]Burrow Entrance[/size] [size=2]Many of the tundras in the clan choose to live in underground burrows. They've built many dens underground, right beneath a field of wildflowers that the clan's name was derived from.[/size] ----- [size=4]Alder Woods[/size] [size=2]The Alder Woods surround the clan's territory and provide many resources for them. He was originally the ambassador when the dragons lived in their Arcane home, and traveled with them when they searched for a new home.
