Closed until I catch up on some commissionss

Kiiinda interested in art for my humanoid OCs but let's see what's out there !!
Originally a commission thread elsewhere but screw it im just trading

I might just grab sketches or half of an mspaint doodle or a full painting who knows what I'm looking for,
so expect me to be arbitrary/random I guess even if I actually like the art and/or have the resources lmao 0-0;

PLEASE INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION:

How long u might take for art: lower limit & upper limit
Any preferences for character type (style of design, genres, species, etc), if any (u can say no preference if ur up for drawing anything)

Structure is bust for bust, sketch for sketch, fullbody for fullbody, chibi for chibi, u get the picture.
I'll respect your art shop rules about payment and stuff, so if that involves me going first or some kind of WIP-half-way thing, cool
No dregons but human & humanoid & anthro ok

@Arcanabean Hello! I'm trying to get a bunch of practice going with my new tablet and would love to trade with you if you would like! That's hard to answer XD uhhh...the art part XD
I'm definitely having difficulty with the sketching, and def. the colouring! I just...can't really do it very well?

EDIT: sorry, and not just like a practice thing...but like it feels really uncomfortable and weighted?

so the "weighted" thing might be because of how fast/slow your tablet is (how old or advanced it is) and/or because of tablet pen settings.

Adjust your "tip feel" to be somewhere between soft and firm. Firmer means you have to press harder to get lines that are the same thickness as the default (which allows you to control line width more since your default on firm feel is thinner lines). Softer means you have less freedom over your lines, but less effort for consistency.

Make sure touch input is enabled, of course :p

If you feel like your tablet is "laggy" dial up the scroll speed and pointer speed c:

If settings for your tablet don't do it for you, go into your art program and make sure your pen pressure settings are enabled there as well! And as I said before, it might just have to do with how outdated or new your tablet is, so that's one thing you might not be able to help :V

Here's a lineart tutorial that's been suuuuuuuperduper helpful for me, to get more confident and less shaky linework:

Don't worry too much about the art program setting stuff if you're unfamiliar with it. Just keep in mind the line techniques starting on the 4th picture!

Wow! Thank's so much, i will be sure to fix those settings! Also, I realized i hadn't said it before, so... i love your art style! It's so nice and fun to look at!
