[*]"Do you think x would like it?"
While I'm here as a resource, I want you to be the writers and come up with your own ideas. While criticism is how people grow, do not shame people for writing something you personally think is "bad". Criticism should point out errors and how to grow from them. [*]Respect writers who do not want their work discussed. [*]You can discuss other pieces of literature and media that you've consumed. However, keep the actual discussion within Code of Conduct and Rules and Guidelines. While you can reference Stephen King's "It", I ask that you not mention parts of the story that could potentially violate ToS or CoC. [*]While discussing general, broad ideas, or talking about the pros and cons of certain genres is fine, please do not post your actual writing here. [*]Please post your finished works in the Submission Thread. Works posted in here will not be counted.
@FloatinginSpace
May I please ask, is there a word limit on the stories we submit? This seems very exciting, and I'm keen to participate.

@FloatinginSpace
Whoa! So even if I submitted a novel with 50,000 words, I'd still be accepted into the contest? Not that I'd have enough time to write that in a month!

@FloatingInSpace Given we shouldn't be editing submissions once submitted, would it be alright to post and edit here? Mostly in case of post editing/formatting that's impossible on a Google doc or something :P

@Oranitha

I'd rather you not. Like I said, I'd prefer you not post any of the actual writing that you plan on posting here.

@FloatingInSpace Alright, to be clear: stuff we want to submit but aren't done yet doesn't go on any of y'alls' threads, we put it someplace else we come up with ourselves?
