Tucked away in the picturesque highlands of the Reedcleft Ascent is a ragtag clan of sorts. The leader of this clan is a lovely (even though plain) Guardian who goes by the name Northwind. She hails from the Southern Icefields, and her ancestry is unknown. She fled from a clan of Ice dragons, an outcast because of her eyes. Green, like the grasses that grow on the Zephyr Steppes. I will not bore you with the entire story, but let's just say that once she saw the free-spirited travelers venture into the unyielding Icefields, she would have no more and she lofted herself into flight on a clear, chilly winter's night, borne by the gusts of an incoming thaw. On this same wind, she met her true love, lost and wandering on the sea. They locked their green eyes, and it was love at first sight. They set forth to start a new clan, and now it has grown into this, accepting of all dragons of all flights and species and occupation.

After a day and night of flying and hunting and talking, the duo finally reached the Windswept Plateau. Their wings battered by winds and minds tired underneath the gentle light of the moon, they sheltered in a burrow they dug together. The next day they set off to find a suitable place to start a clan.
It took a week. But it was beautiful, and after a few months, it started to thrive.
The lair is situated near the glistening sea, slightly hidden by a copse of trees. In the cliff faces are dens, and paper lanterns are strung up around bamboo trees and on the rock face itself. Food is abundant: dragons leap off the cliff in spectacular dives to catch fish like a seabird. Meat prey hide in nooks and crannies in the cliffs. Insects flitted about the tall grass and trees. Edible plants grew all around, and some dragons have started growing plants for themselves. Northwind also sends the fighting team to gain loot and hoardsell them, and keep the food to eat because sometimes the food supply ran low.
But otherwise, it was perfect.
