I've been working on fixing the issue for a bit here - and am still getting a few codes fixed.
Well there is a manual way to edit the image codes but the easier way (I use this myself) is to simply copy the template's placeholder image's address --> ctrl+F search that (when you have the bio open in edit view) --> and then using this FR image generator, replace the place-holder image with the image you want. :)

No that one is for dragon images only - by apparel do you mean the smaller images like this?

If so you'd need to use the apparel name and the item box code.
Example - the Red Rose Flowerfall above:
[code][item=Red Rose Flowerfall][/code]
Works for all apparel and other items - like genes and such (just be sure to spell the name correctly)!
[code][item=APPAREL NAME][/code]
