So....
My lore is a huge work in progress but, the basic gist is:
My progens, both devoted to serving the Stormcatcher, worked hard and built a lair for their clan. At some point they basically adopted Debacle, a Light mirror with a somewhat shady past. Debacle is a lazy butt, but mostly well-meaning and truly devoted to his clan.
And then, suddenly, both progens decide that its time for both of them to go off to serve the Stormcatcher directly, leaving Debacle in charge. Debacle, panicking and completely unprepared, with almost no technical skills to fall back on, decides to use the one thing he does have - a large lair at the base of the Tempest Spire.
((ORR maybe he gives tours and cruises on the outer sea?? i really want to incorporate that into the lore, but unsure how - having a hotel seems very cliche, @ myself))
Dragons of all flights seek to serve the Stormcatcher directly for reasons of their own - Debacle simply provides them with room, board, and, eventually, hires other dragons that could offer training to the newcomers so that they could be better suited to serve the deity. ((Basically my in-universe explanation for exalting dragons))
I still need to think through everything and consider all options, but yeah! This is what I have at the moment, and I would, of course, love to hear any suggestions or ideas!! O:

perhaps debacle is a courteasan/entertainer leader and cadfael is a warlord leader?? HMMM romance and pairing and stuff???? (part of the clan are warriors/engineers for hiring - going out to hunt, protect, and offer their services, the other part stays at home in comfort and safety (and any who wish it make sure to erm, "entertain" the warriors whenever they come home).

also as for your lore @anxious mirror lover What i your progens worked hard and had everything set for a clan. A beginning of a self sufficient lair. ran by robots or grand mechanical architects. However plans cut short as they were called upon their deity and left to the stormcatcher. idk if i read the snippets right but your progens chose Debacle? In one scenario they were already gone and Debacle was the first to make it into the lair. They notice it's abandon but there is so much to utilize . Other dragons that come in assume that all these grand things were then provided by Debacle. Any at some point they realize it was actually your progens but they all sit too comfortably to question the other dragon about it. Now such a lair would probably draw attention but I'd like to think it's a somewhat hidden lair that shows what it needs and to others they view the more "intimidating" dragons //Asphodel, Frost, cadfael (I mean he's a sentinel but tbh I cant find him scary)// a balance is kinda stuck all that technology hidden by what looks alike a small lair of wanderers. None looking like they belong in the same lair.... On the second scenario. With him being chosen and having all said warriors and protectors among such carefree lair is it's not as safe as everyone assumes Your entertainers,seers, and dragons that are living peacefully and content never realized what the progens left behind is something other might want to take maybe the dragons that take to arms/fighting let the majority of your lair kind of live in a bubble(?)
