The path follows a gentle slope that borders on territory, thus it is somewhat rocky. It is relatively comfortable through this valley. There is plenty of shade in the pockets of forest growth that dot the lazy incline. Wind dragons come up to bask in the beauty, especially during the spring when the mountain flowers are in full bloom. Colors ripple along the valley's base and walls. This area is a good omen for those beginning their journey and a well welcomed sight for those tired souls coming over the other way. Though Starbird Pass has always been an important route through Wind territory to Water, it hasn't been until recent history that the control of it has been sought after. The clan that resides within the pass has only inhabited it for less than a generation. They claim that they are guardians to all travelers, but there are many who seek their own selfish reasons for gaining any control of the route. [/center]
