You sign up by filling in a section on the spreadsheet linked below! There are three pages for signups, one for people who want to draw dragons only, one for people who want to do gijinkas and humanizations, and one for people with no preference! On the first of December you will be assigned a partner using random.org, and receive their request! [b]Gifts will be distributed by organizers, and artists can choose whether or not to have their identities revealed to their recipient on delivery![/b] Please check the front page of the spreadsheet for further elaboration on rules. This is the very first year we are hosting this so please bear with us, we will do our absolute best to address any concerns! [u]RULES[/u] • All forum rules apply! • No NSFW/Inappropriate drawings - Do not break FR TOS. • Please be appreciative of the work you receive! • If you sign up, try your very best to follow through. • Completed spreadsheet forms are due November 30 and art will be due on December 23. This gives us two days to distribute the art. [u]FAQs[/u] [b]•What do I do when I’m finished?[/b] Send the art in a link or an image to either me or Sleeper, please refrain from posting your finished piece on social media until after the 25th, as we don't want to spoil the surprise :^> (Deviant Art's Sta.sh is an acceptable way of uploading) [b]•Can I get art of my OCs, friends, pets, etc?[/b] No, sorry, for the sake of organization, a common theme, and general ease, we’re keeping this exchange limited to FR dragons (in one form or another) only. [b]• What if I don't get my art/my partner forgets/etc?[/b] Don't worry! There may be some delays, but someone will fill in! However, please don’t use this as an excuse not to do your part - If you cut off communication or don’t specify with the organizers that something has come up, we will not be able to send you the artwork that was done for you. [b]• Is there any way I can help?[/b] There’s a fourth page on the sheet for people interested in filling in to do extra art (in case people forget or need to drop out). Try to be understanding and don’t be overly specific or ask your partner for corrections or redos, these aren’t commissions and the surprise is a big part of the fun. [b]• Something came up! It's important and I can't do my art![/b] That’s okay! We’ve organized this a while in advance to make sure there’s plenty of extra time to work on things, but we completely understand if there is an emergency. If all else fails message @ Nyctea or @ sleepersharks and we will work with you. We also understand that Christmas can be a busy time, so we’ll do our best to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied. [b]• What type of art is allowed?[/b] Traditional and Digital are both fine! If you have a scanner or can take a good/clear photo of traditional work, that’s optimal, but if you have concerns about image quality contact one of us and we will try to help if we can. [b]• What if I don't like the art I get?[/b] It is a gift, be gracious. The random nature of gift exchanges means that you are not guaranteed a specific thing- If anyone has concerns about the way their assigned partner has received their artwork (ie: guilting, harassment, requests for edits or redos) Please let us know.
