Louisa
Uh-oh, looks like this restless lass wandered a little too far from his/her home lair (256252, Petall), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Having hatched in an Inn, Louisa has been surrounded by travelers her entire life. She grew up on stories of their adventures, and fell in love with the idea of traveling. Encouraged by her parents, who spent a great deal of time travelling before settling at the Inn Over Yonder (then known as Clan Yonder), she has decided she wants to have her own adventures. She does not know what sort of dragon she will be by the time she rests her wings, but she hopes that by the time that has happened, she has visited all 11 flights.

Louisa's first stop was the Tangled Wood, a dark and eerie place with glowing mushrooms and eyes peering from the darkness. Louisa was about to turn back when a friendly voice called to her from within the shadows. "Are you lost?" The voice belonged to a nocturne hatchling with dark green scales and blue wings. Louisa told him her story and he told her about his clan, the Voidhunters. The Nocturne, Cruz, took Louisa back to his clan, which was located in a hidden canyon, cheery in comparison to the rest of the forest. Cruz let Louisa stay in his lair, and the two hatchlings became fast friends. It was with a heavy heart that Louisa decided it was time to move on. Cruz begged her to stay, but Louisa did not want to give up her dream of traveling and so resumed her journey.

However, Louisa learned that she was very easily distracted, and stopped halfway out of the Wood at a questionable Monestary. It was questionable, because it constantly smelled of smoke, was either too hot or too cold, the Monks who praised the state of being sober had a bar AND, underneath the ground they worshiped on, was a labyrinth of witches.
She stayed in the Monestary for a month, learning about the history of the treaty, the long lost Paladins, and the name of the hollow mountain that was the Monestary, Mount Eurus. At this point, her adventurous and curious nature began to make some suspicious witches uncomfortable, so she bid farewell to the monks of Mount Eurus to run from the witches, into a new place. -BoomBreeze
"Louisa is that you?"
"Amberlyn, come quick, our daughter is home!"
"Lousia?"
"Did someone say Lousia?"
"Welcome home Lousia!"
"Hey, Bree! Come here and meet our sister!"
The welcome of her birth clan echoed in her ears, and Louisa couldn't help but grin. She was exhausted from her travels, but it felt good to be home, to be loved like this again. Though she had made many friends on her travels, she had met no one who was destined to be a permanent friend. She stayed up late into the night, sharing stories about her travels, and catching up with the dragons she had shared the first part of her life with. Much had change since she had left. Her family had grown.
She stayed at the Inn Over Yonder for quite some time, relishing the warmth of the atmosphere, but she began to grow restless again.
"You want to leave, don't you hon." Her mother asked one afternoon as they flew in the cool breezes around the docked airship.
"Yes. I wasn't meant to stay in one place for long, I think There's still more I want to see. I just- it's been good to be home but-"
"I understand. You don't need to explain." Amberlyn smiled. "I know what it is like to feel the wind in your wings and not want for anything more. Go. See the world. Just know, you are always welcome home. We will always be here for you. You have a place with us."
"Thank you. I just feel, there is something out there calling me. There's still more I need to become. There are still dragons I need to meet."
She left not long after that. Despite her mother's offer, she did not know if she would return home again. She didn't know anything about her future, but that excited her. She would find her future, and she would meet it head-on, no matter what trials or joys it would bring. -Petall
Donning her white scarf, she found her future in the illwrought scarred wastelands. It was anything but hospitable to a wind native. Whilst exploring the wastes, Louisa found herself hungry and whilst not minding trying something new, perhaps a less rotten palette would be more satisfactory.
She stumbled upon a clan dubbing themselves as "honestly we don't have a name but we're going with Seveny", full of dragons from many other clans with the common humour and wit. Settling down, she made herself at home and looked forward to her stay with the surprisingly light hearted plague clan.
Falling for a lovely albino pearlcatcher named Ayin, Louisa settled for a few years until her offspring hatched, yet her itch to travel returned. Bidding goodbye, she set off, with one of her daughters excited to travel with her mother.
-RJMac
Shadow would be soon to find the young wildclaw and her daughter. They stumbled across a group hidden in the brambles. They were small, but a sneaky group. She learned they had recently come here from wind, which made her feel almost.. at home with them. The clan welcomed her with open arms, and she found a place to rest until her daughter was old enough to continue their travels.
Ziora was an adventurous one. She was often visiting the clan's healer after getting herself caught in the brambles and scratched up with the other young dragons. It earned the young pearl a set of deep scars on her thigh that she wore proudly. She grew up brave, though. It made Louisa proud.. but she knew they couldn't stay.
Wanderlust was a powerful thing.
Before their departure, the Nameless clan threw a celebration. Though, Louisa had a feeling they would do anything for a party. They lit up the darkness with lanterns and kites that reminded her of home. By morning, she and her Ziora were heading out into the sunlight to continue their path..
-Upshur
Louisa arrived with her daughter to Crystalline Reaches, welcomed warmly by a clan called Neverland. The leader was a Wildclaw like herself named
Ejo. While resting and visiting with the clan members and other travelers there, 3 eggs hatched, all Pearlcatchers like her daughter. The newborns made her a little sad, missing her mate. But she needed to explore and travel as she knew her daughter needed to as well. She talked a lot to the adults of the clan and learned of the disapperances of other clan members. Afraid something might happen to her daughter, they took off a day or so later, not wanting either of them to disapper like the clan members.

On her way to the realm of the Lightweaver, Louisa got stuck in a cave due to bad storms. Isolated and starving for three whole weeks, she couldn't be happier once the sun looked out from behind the clouds once more.
Crossing the borders into Light Flight, she preyed on small animals to feed herself, and soon found her way into a small, but tidy, clan. There, she got a good bath, watched over by a handful of hatchlings. She thought she might tell them of her travels, but hesitated. In that moment, she wasn't sure she'd feel good if she knew she'd inspire anyone else to follow her path - she'd nearly starved to death, after all. -Zikul
Before she could leave her last clan, Ziora disappeared. Once she was there, and some hours later she was gone. Louisa searched for her daughter. She searched endlessly, but once she found a trail to follow, it went cold quickly. It was maddening. She looked and looked, but Ziora was no where to be found.
Louisa started traveling again to take her mind off of the loss. Ziora would find her again one day. She had to.
Louisa retreated to the Tangled Wood, using the difficulty of navigating the land to her advantage. It took her mind off of everything that wasn't survival. She quickly got lost, but she didn't care. She only worried once hunger set in. She traveled for another week. It worsened. She traveled yet another week. She started to lose her focus. By the third week, with her body already weakened from previous starvation, she blacked out.
She awoke in a damp place, underground by the musty smell. A rustling had her turning to see the source.
A hooded black and white Imperial, a warrior by his armor, called out to an expanse in front of him. The whole place was gloomy, dreary. The dragon stood out like a candle. Funny, the clan looked like it was adorned in Night Flames all strung across the cave ceiling and ever present brambles.
"She's awake."
He hardly needed to raise his voice to have the sound echo. Louisa arose, shaking off tatters of what might have been a blanket long ago.
She scanned the grounds, but saw only another dragon or two in the huge area. Lairs, most likely empty ones, were scattered across the stretch of land.
"Who are you?" she asked, her stomach loudly rumbling.
"Xavier." The Imperial looked over his shoulder to glance at her, before looking about for whoever he had called to.
"Sorry, former Plague clan. Most of these dragons aren't used to taking care of others. They used to have a healer, a family of them actually, but they're all...gone now." he added with a sigh.
After far too long a time of waiting, a dragon came over with food for her. She wolfed it down and even then she was still hungry. Xavier said that a few scouts were looking to bring food back at some time soon, meaning maybe a few days from then.
The dragons here didn't welcome or shun her. They all went about their business. Apparently some wouldn't leave their lairs, but most busied themselves with building this clan. Once she had time to really look at it, it was all new. Just being built for the first time.
Most of the dragons here had lost their previous clan violently, and from the Shade no less.
She shuddered to think of it, and while she helped the dragons with more physically demanding tasks, she left soon after. That place was harrowing. -VoxxVoleur
It was shortly after entering Water Flight territory that Louisa was confronted by an armored Pearlcatcher, demanding to know her reasons for crossing into his clan's territory. After an intense round of questioning, Asizora agreed to take the Wildclaw to meet with the clan leader.
Inside a large grotto, partially submerged with the tide, Louisa was introduced to a blue Mirror by the name of Disera. After explaining her reasons for traveling, Disera agreed to allow Louisa to stay as long as she liked. "We've an odd mix of dragons here," she explained. "Most of them have made a permanent home here, but there are some who stay only a short while before leaving again. We welcome all, as long as no one causes trouble for the others."
