As the two mercenaries of the clan, Alexandros and Tau often acted as scouts as well as going on their own adventures from time to time. The Brightshine Jubilee was approaching and Nari had sent them to look around for interesting events - this was one such event.


The two were thrown into a mountainous road, surrounded by trees and a peaceful breeze that sound past them. They had the feeling there would have been beautiful views if it hadn't been such a foggy day, with a few rude remarks from Tau, the two set off trundling down the road.

As Alexandros predicted, there would be a spot where the fog cleared. Lo and behold, there on the cliff the two dragons stood, looking down at the plateau where the light broke through the clouds like the Lightweavers gaze itself onto what looked to be an ancient city, some rocks or a village, it was hard to tell from such a distance .

They weren't really focusing on what the gaze looked upon, even though they probably should have, but more on the skies and the gaze itself. Despite the fogginess, Light shone through.

She had to guide the young pearlcatchers and teach them how to become better hunters and explorers. So far they have been good but they never left the Ashfall Waste and so, they didnt understand most of Sornieth and what better to start the training in the Festival of the deity of both species? Someone told her that were looking to retreat some artifacts and it ocurred to her that it would be perfect to train the endurece of the small dragons as well as tracking, logical thinking, eyeing their surroundings and other things she couldnt quite remember right now -[b][color=#B74B81]But this is a good place as any to start our traveling and it may be good place to learn to look beyond what you see. We get what we get kids and now, keep on moving those tiny paws[/b][/color] [b][color=#BA7B33]- Yuna... we need to see the artifacts and so far, nothing gives us the smallest sign that they are here -[/b][/color] Thar, the sister of the two, was more relaxed but by the flick of her tail, the imperial could see that she was about as bored and mad as her brother[b][color=#BA7B33] -How could they have gotten so far away, anyway?[/b][/color] [b][color=#B74B81]- Well, it could have been taken by pirates, mercenaries, fallen in to a current and then... - [/b][/color]The imperial started talking about all the possibilites, realistic or not, that came to her mind. You see, more than really giving the young imperial a specific task, the clan leader had setted the teams to explore trying to extinguish the tension and bad blood between the two dragons species living on the mountains in the Flamecaller territory. And since Yuna didnt participated on the Forgotten Battle, they didn`t had as much prejudice against each other and was easier to start with them for some sort of peace or tolerance between each other [color=#586D5C][b]-THE THING IS, YUNA - [/b]snapped suddenly the male [b]- that im bored of not finding anything that could be ANYWHERE. Admit that you are as lost as us and let go home flying with our paws as empty as our stomach to disgrace the Lighwater, Flamecaller AND our parents[/b][/color] -he sit after almost a 2 hours walking, he wasnt as tired as dissapointed with the journey so far, he was specting adventures as big as the ones he heard from the Indiana Light Sprite!...and they were just walking [b][color=#B74B81]-Yeah but this was...our zone, they wouldnt send us here for nothing[/b][/color] - she put the weight on her back legs to try and see over the trees. Her voice was a quiet murmur as all her energy had left her, she expected so much better for their first days [b][color=#B74B81]- and im not lost, i know where we are and i know there is clan nearby -[/color][/b]she added after a few minutes, trying to make this day as usefull as it could with some lessons about tracking and signs of other dragons, differents trees (that are not a really common thing in the fire domain) and other details she didnt feel like explaining anymore and the male wasnt hearing at all anyway Suddenly, the voice of the smaller of the group was heard [b][color=#BA7B33]- GUYS! [/color][/b]- the dragoness stopped in front of the duo after reaching them after running for what it seems, long minutes - I have found a secret path - she said painting and aiming for the canteen -[b][color=#BA7B33] its small, and rusty. Almost covered by leaves and roots but...i think it might have been used to travel before -[/color][/b] this brightened the dragons faces who havent noticed Thar when to explore by herself when the two of them argued about to do, half an hour before. [b][color=#B74B81]-We could go a the Nature Clan and ask to stay for the night before going in to the path! Tired travelers wont go too far -[/color][/b]Said yuna, giving them another unrequited quote of wisdom (Day 1 ended: The party didnt found anything but a old side road. Maybe a path to their next big dissapoitment? Maybe to the city made of pure gold? Who knowns!)

The Rogues were slightly resentful, but this was mostly because they hated walking. Used to the open seas, their feet carried them through the mountainous plains at a cruelly slow pace. The Reedcleft Ascent was beautiful, sure, if all you were here for was the view of the mountains fading into the distance. But nobody on the team was much a fan of deliberate exercise.

They had been walking for hours, the path winding and somewhat treacherous with its sharp curves and potential rockslides. But Quicksilver had carried on, an air of determination on his scarred face, and that kept the Rogues at least moving forwards.

At last they encountered something, a moss-covered stone structure. It was too heavy to lift, cemented to the ground through eons of peaceful immobility, so the Rogues had no hope of stealing it. It was, however, next to a rock inscribed with a language they hadn't seen before. They wrote down the message, intent on taking it back to someone who might be interested. And then, with a sigh, they turned around and went back the way they had come.

Georgina asks incredulously. "I'm having a hard time spending the day here." The two snappers are tramping through the Viridian Labyrinth, searching for artifacts. "Yep. Isn't it wonderful? It's so alive." Zeeva breathes in the scent of the jungle. "I know it's a bit hot, but it's also beautiful." The green snapper looks up at the giant palm trees. "Really, there's no place I'd rather be." "Why did you leave then?" Georgina asks, genuinely curious. "Well, I can't stand to stay in one place for too long. Even the most amazing place in Sornieth gets old. And before I left, I didn't know it was the most amazing place in Sornieth since I hadn't tried anywhere else." They are deep in the jungle now. Zeeva takes another step, then feels the dirt collapse under her. When the dust clears, Zeeva is several feet below Georgina, and the dirt has shifted to reveal a door. Zeeva shakes herself off and steps inside, closely followed by Georgina. Inside, the snappers discover a statue of the Gladekeeper. "This must be an ancient temple to the Gladekeeper!" Georgina exclaims. "The Light archeologists will be interested in this," Zeeva adds. Since they can't bring the entire temple with them, the two snappers take a small statue of the Gladekeeper they found near the base of the larger statue. They leave the temple and happily report back to the archeologists.
