Flight Rising Merch!
I've gotten into making flight-centric merch, just for because. Here's what I've made so far!
Plague Flight Banner!
Symbol and bias tape in Tango Red on a Biking Red background. Backing (not shown) in Black.
This came out a lot cleaner than I thought it would! Being a super organic shape really helps because things can be a little bit woobly and no one can really notice. No camera I own does the rich red colors justice; everything is either really dark or a giant glowing mass of jumbled reds. .-.
20 inches from top to longest point, and 15 inches across. Four loops at the top by which to hang it up.
Light Flight Banner!
Symbol and bias tape in Goldenrod on some sort of pale yellow background. Backing (not shown) in White.
Light's symbol is oddly difficult to do. D: I think it's because it's so clean and angular and if something goes on a little crooked the whole thing looks off.
Needs a good ironing in this picture, but I forgot before I shipped it out, oops.
20 inches from top to longest point, and 15 inches across. Four loops at the top by which to hang it up.
Ice Flight Banner!
Symbol and bias tape in Light Royal Blue on a Light Blue background. Backing (not shown) in White.
Same issue as with the angularity of the Light symbol. But it turned out pretty well! I've made 4 individual banners as of this one, and I have yet to make the loops in the same way on any of them. .-.

Nature Flight Banner!
Symbol and bias tape in various shades of green (I gotta start paying more attention when I buy fabric whoops). Backing (not shown) in Black.
The symbol is based off of the version in the
Flight Festival Banner,
Dom Banner,
profile backgrounds and behind dragons in lairs instead of the one on the official under-icon banner itself.
This tree drove me up the wall, no wonder Momma Plaguebringer is at odds with Aunt Gladey. D: It's tough to draw and even harder to sew because of all the little points and curves and aesthetic lumps everywhere. Also, why does the Nature tree have no leaves at the top? I added some for creative vision, or something like that. o:
20 inches from top to longest point, and 15 inches across. Loops coming soon, as well as a hopefully better picture.
Plague Flight arm band!
The ends hang super long and are cut into wavy points. Also functions as a great headband.
Biking Red Stretch Cotton Sateen on black Stretch Cotton Sateen, for the comfiest feel while wearing. Fraying and messy zigzag are intentional, as per the Plague aesthetic.
This is more or less just a very quick and dirty trial to see how sewing the Plague symbol on things would go. I recall knocking it out while procrastinating on sewing one of my costumes.
Yes, the symbol is flipped in the mirror. .-.
