Hello! A friendly Earthie here. I was prompted to do this by a few friends, and after some contemplation it seemed like a good idea. I'm going to be opening up a lore shop! My lore is somewhat lengthy, not entirely a novel but nothing too short and sweet either. My work consists of a paragraph of character description, personality that is, and a bigger section that describes how a dragon came into your clan and what they currently do within its lair. I don't consider myself some amazing playwright, so my orders will be pretty cheap at
Puffin is broken. Originally a cheerful, outgoing young tundra, she's fallen far in her life journey and is now a recluse. Sticking to herself, she's rarely one to start a conversation, drastically different than her original self. Her heartbreak is felt by many members of the clan, and many of the Benevolus still treat her as a leader in hopes of raising her spirits.
Puffin spends a lot of alone time, whether it's wandering the barren ground of the Shattered Plain or staring at the intricately carved walls of the lair's ruin plaza. She occasionally finds the heart to crack a joke or join in a passionate worker's song, but it never lasts long. She almost immediately returns to a lost, hopeless expression and weak gait. Many find it effortless to see through her plastered-on bluff of a smile.
---
Puffin first led the Benevolus by birthright, when the clan was still a part of the Water Flight. Powerful and numerous, she retains plenty a memory of the mass glory the Benevolus once held, a sanctuary beneath the sea that she inherited with a smile and high hope. A bout between the Water and Fire Flights, though, just as soon ended her dreams as she had acquired them.
Still young and unprepared, Puffin was left in shock as a crippling heat wave stripped the coastline water, and in turn, territory of her clan. Most likely an attack by the Water Flight's rival at the time, the Benevolus was scattered and ruined by the devastating disaster and Puffin, inexperienced, was unable to save the clan from disbandment. Water-native, a vast majority of the original Benevolus found it impossible to survive in the newly created desert and many either fled farther inward, to the depths of the sea that had survived, or sought Earth clans to take them in. Group by small group, Puffin's clan was diminished until only she remained, desperate to hold on to whatever legacy and hope was left for her. Alone, struggling to adapt, and with an injured pride, Puffin was ready to give up. It was then that she was found, wandering Dragonhome, by Ictus and Ipsa.
The peddlers had taken her in immediately. Friendly and youthful they took pity on Puffin's broken past and offered to help her rebuild her legacy. With a sliver of hope left, she agreed. Band by band, the two recruited dragons for Puffin to lead, trying to restore the sanctuary feel and mighty numbers of the Benevolus. Puffin, however, began to find it harder and harder to hold on. After seeing many dragons turn to Ictus rather than herself, she made the ultimate decision to step down. Crippled by grief, she's never been the same since. Ictus and Ipsa often consult her to lift her spirits or simply make her feel wanted, but more often than not Puffin prefers to go on lone walks and think. The former leader now currently handles external affairs with other clans, but does so at a slow pace and troubled pattern, given that most of her time is spent reflecting on sad memories that she is bound to soon lose from her breed's habitual mindsake.

Terrin, dubbed "The Weary Traveler" by many who know him, definitely lives up to the title. Known for both his offset, distant attitude and his shocking ability to go up to three months without sustenance, this odd Spiral knows his way around a long journey ahead and is well sought-after among dragonesses for his attributes. Introverted and shy, Terrin is never one to proclaim or boast himself and rather seeks to remain a mystery to many, though unfortunately his striking abilities and sense of self make him a tad famous. He only truly opens up to Madanbir, unaware that the Guardian is in love with him despite being attracted singly to males himself. The two spend a lot of time together, and Terrin's long absences from the lair often leave the tailor lonely and distraught.
---
Terrin joined the Tribe the only way he knows best: wandering. Though native to Arcane territory to begin with, the traveler was making a roundabout stop to rest when he happened upon the lair of the Tribe of Cosmic Resonance. Though the clan's foreign policy is bumpy and uncertain, Terrin was one of the first few allowed into the group's ranks without question. He first used the clan lair as a pitstop, 'refueling' with food and rest before setting off on another journey. As he began to familiarize himself with the dragons of the Tribe, though, his trips began to be few and far between. Realizing he had found a healthy group of friends (and an even better special admirer), Terrin found himself keeping to the lair more often, and for longer. His soaring heart still leads him off into the horizon on plentiful occasion, but the Tribe has come to know that no matter what, no matter after however long, he will return.
Terrin's relationship with Madanbir is, to say the least, unstable. Completely unknowing of the Guardian's infatuation with him, Terrin is often left simply refusing the advances of females as the other looks on. The two are close-knit and completely trusting of each other, but with Madanbit being walled off and introverted himself, an air of tension lies between them that neither can truly figure out how to displace. Unbeknownst to Terrin, Madanbit often has sad, lonely spells whenever the Spiral is off on one of his signature, out-of-the-blue trips, and the tailor simply doesn't know what to do with himself when Terrin isn't around. Though he won't admit it, 'The Weary Traveler' is beginning to act the same way when journeying alone. He hopes one day to invite Madanbir to explore along with him, side by side as the wonderful companions they are. Perhaps, eventually, he may even wish a little further than that.
Speaking to Candor is quite literally like talking to a rock. Emotionless and blank for a vast majority of the time, the Pearlcatcher isn't exactly one to approach for advice or warmth and comfort. While expressing diligence and bravery in the face of battle and her daily duties, she doesn't reveal much else about her character and rather lets her trapped spirit succumb to the boring temptations of being a living statue. Often, she's stricken with grief or shame, mainly in her objectification and permanent marking from the Light Flight. She tries her best to hide the brand, but to no avail. Candor's only true signs of compassion seem to be in her protective instinctual behavior and the occasional pat she may place on her sculpture familiar's stony head. Still, her clanmates revere her as a close friend and mentor, and Candor seems to care about them just as much as they her. ...Just don't tell anyone she admits to it.
---
Candor's story truely begins as a stolen Ice hatchling. Snatched from her home by a raiding Light clan, she was originally purposed as an exaltation sacrifice during a particularly brutal, territory-wide struggle for dominance. The Light clan's sorcerer, however, had another fate in mind. Seeing potential, he raised Candor as a warrior, training her in challenging trials and pitting her against other trainees until she was the top of her rank. She believed she was meant for her position, meant to have been placed in the Light element, but her thinking soon changed for the worse. She hadn't been training, she had been prepped for the sorcerer's end goal. It was then that the very dragon who raised her tore her soul from her body, displacing it and rather attaching it to a relic, a monumental Pearlcatcher statue that the clan had erected for protection and luck. The next time Candor awoke, she was made of stone and dust.
The sorcerer had done this all in good intention, knowing that awakening such a figure with the soul of a strong dragon would ensure his clan ultimate protection. Candor, however, was mortified and sickened. Unable to move her new body for the longest time, she took the first chance she could to run away, slowly prying her new self free from its marble pedestal once she gathered the strength and slowly, painfully fleeing the lair overnight, trailing crumbling bits and sand the entire way. She wandered for a time she couldn't record, dragging herself through forests, caves, and streams until she found herself in Dragonhome, standing among the dry, cracked hills of the Shattered Plain. It was here that she happened upon the Benevolus.
Ictus and Ipsa took her under their wings almost immediately, providing her a safe place to familiarize herself and become used to her new body and abilities. While somewhat stiff and falling apart, Candor continues her skilled fighting and protective duties as the head guard, Ictus's personal Elite, and the trainer of many of the clan's new additions. Able to take sword slices and bites painlessly, she's an effective 'dummy' for practicing, though you may end up bruised and beaten if you openly call her by that title. For the most part, Candor has found peace here. It is only herself she has yet to conquer.
General Personality Ideas/Plans: Victoria is witty, optimistic and always smiling, however she can become antisocial and withdrawn when under pressure or stressed. She has an excellent sense of humour and is unafraid to put herself out there and take the spotlight. Although she is very caring she is also opinionated, and will stubbornly argue her way if need be. Her creativity manifests itself in a mixture of art and stories, as well as her craft.
Background or Clan Lore/Information I would need to know beforehand: She's one of the clan witches and her craft mostly involves plants (which she is very passionate about). She also has a deep love of history and crafts, and enjoys combining the clan history in storytelling.
