Every week, I will upload a new, original writing prompt to get some creative juices flowing! Type it, write it on paper, write it in your head, it doesn't matter! Just get your thoughts going and share them! Each week, on Monday at roll over or just after, I will post a new writing prompt. You then have the week to complete it and share it. Each week, a single person's work will be selected and showcased in the Spotlight (this will be accompanied with a small FR prize). Feel free to submit or provide feedback to those who request it! Anyone is welcome to join and there is no signing up process. Simply submit a prompt! :D Okay, so we have to have some rules to make it fair! Anything that does not follow these rules will not be eligible for the Spotlight and I likely won't read it.

Ping me (@MizuKuma) when you post your submissions.
Must be uploaded/shared by 11:59:59pm, Sunday night, FR time.
Limit of 1 (one) entry per person per week.
Maximum of 500 words, unless otherwise stated in the prompt. The fish danced like they were trying out for the Shark Tale movie, wiggling their fishy hips and twirling tiny pieces of coral shaped like stage canes. Word Count: None! But, please, please, please don't write me a novel or a novella.... Keep it to a decent length.

Prompt:
Your story will take place in a world that is much like our own, however there is one single thing that is different. Only one! Tell me about how this single difference changes the world.

i.e.: It rains gumdrops, instead of raindrops; Animals speak human languages; Humans are able to change gender in a single-gender environment......
