"Normal" is relative, but yes, if you were to purchase a Stained gene scroll (it is a Gem MP gene) and apply it to him, it would overwrite his current Lace tertiary.

Yellow Peacock seems to have something going on. Seems to be the same on all breeds.

What is 'something going on'? You'll need to be more specific about what you think is wrong if you're reporting a bug.

This is also
already reported. It's missing "the pupil" part.
So I found a dragon while I was browsing the AH who seems to have some, ah, issues. Sorry if this has already been reported; I tried searching the thread and didn't find anything on this issue in particular.
First, for comparison, Obsidian ringlets on white piebald/paint:

and then the dragon in question.

The tertiary seems to have layered under parts of the primary? At first I thought it was just because ringlets is the same color, but that doesn't explain why some of the lighter parts of the gene get randomly cropped out (look at the hind leg on that wildclaw...)
The same happens with other breeds:

I checked, and it seems to be an issue with any case of ringlets and paint/piebald, especially in similar colors. Here it is on a black/black/obsidian; as you can see there's still a sort of 'shadow' in the same areas of the tert that are 'blanked out' on the XXX version.

Maybe it's intentional but.... it really doesn't look like it to me.

@Sciencin yeah, it happens to be an issue with how the shadows work with Ringlets, I think. at least something to do with the shadows. it REALLY doesn't look right.

is there going to be any update from staff on if all these gene errors are going to be fixed or not? it seems the pile gets bigger with every new release without any word from staff on this thread
in fact
this post from 2016 appears to be the last time staff posted on this thread according to the 'jump to post' button

not sure @corprus , tbh i hope these gene issues are fixed eventually. i understand the staff are very busy folks, and i respect that, but there are so many bugs that haven't been fixed in a LONG time. new gene bugs are being found weekly and i just wish something could be done about that. it's preventing me personally from being able to utilize a lot of genes due to so many mistakes/bugs making me nervous to get more dragons.
i guess all we can do is hope that the staff will find time to hopefully give us an update on if/when we can expect more gene fixes.

I don't know if this has been posted here before but I noticed this while messing around in the scrying workshop:
Runes on male Skydancers is missing accents on quite a few colors. The examples shown below are not every color affected, as I think a majority of the colors are. Female SD shown for comparison as they have the accents.
