Here you will find, for sale, dragons infected with something called 'Blacklight', a virus with some interesting and unusual effects on its victims... The dragon must be named, either by myself or by you, before it leaves my lair. To rule one must command with strength, and respect is earned through survival. However, if there were to be some analog of nobility in Plagubringer's wastes it could be well represented by the Necromancers. Serving triple roles as advisors, shamans, and priests, Necromancers are considered to be aspects of the Plaguebringer's will personified. To have one serve a clan is recognized as a great honor and a sign of Her favor. Necromancers earn their title by meditating for twenty-three days and nights on the Rotrock Rim without aid or succor. Prestige is increased by choosing a perch closer to the Wyrmwound, but this also increases the risk of failure and death. Successful dragons are given a symbol of Necromantic rank and a familiar and thereby earn the title of Necromancer. True Necromancers can infect with a touch, as well as pull disease from the body at will. Dragons that can infect but not cure are known as Necroservus and often serve accomplished Necromancers. Failed Necromancers, or Ghouls, are riddled with plague, slowly dying, and are thought to embody Plaguebringer's displeasure. Some Plague dragons believe that She sends them into disobedient clans to spread annihilation and death. This mass comes from an unnamed, unknown disease that breaks down its victims into weightless dust and scatters it, allowing it to manifest in and around the Scarred Wasteland. The dust tends to cling to sticky substances- pustules on plantlife, pulsing roots of trees… anything that it can stick to, it will. It waits there for a Dustrot itself to wander by, at which point it becomes a part of that mass. However, it is possible for this dust to cling to unknowing passerbys, allowing it to be spread to other regions. Once this dust forms a mass, it takes on a dusty, fleshy red color. The ‘wings’ are typically a sickly pale earthtone, dusted with a rotten green smoke- which swirls throughout the whole mass. These creatures seem somewhat aware of what they are, as their only form of conversation seems to be cursed whispers in unfamiliar language. However, they display signs of intelligence- they will infect and take down hardier targets first to make their jobs easier. While sightings of these creatures have been few and far between, researchers do believe that given the time and space to do so, this deadly disease and its creations could grow exponentially.
