So I'm gonna make some changes and we'll be back...[/b] [color=red][b][u]Bio Glitch;[/u] The mood check-in section of our bios seem to have a bug at the moment in reguards to the mood example list. After a bunch of fiddling and poking it's thought to be a CSS problem that will hopefully eventually be fixed as it's been reported now as such! Sorry for the inconvenience. Fortunately it's just a weird aesthetics thing with the font size gone wonky so the Bio is still functional, it just looks kinda weird right now.[/color][/b] ------- Welcome, Spiraling spirals is a stress, comfort and therapy support hatchery, my friend Nihte; the previous owner and myself created the bios for these dragons with the help of our therapist and contain basic cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy skills that most anyone can use to lower their stress levels, manage anxiety, comfort and calm yourself, and reduce vulnerability to most types of stress. These dragons are NOT replacements for any current therapy, or medications, but are simply here to help as they can with reminders and basic skills. Special Feature dragons like primal or multi-gaze hatchlings or hatchlings with special IDs ect may hit the auction block to raise extra funds for the hatchery bank. [*]We will happily take a full stack of insects worth 4 or more food points as payment for a standard dragon. [*]We will hold dragons for up to 24 hours. [*]Feel free to ping me about pricing, haggling or paying for a hatchling in treasure. By default they go to the auction house for their gem price. [*]When Hatchlings are born they are given the Coded Bio Template that best matches their coloration. We're always game for more help! There's lots of pretty eye colours out there, and I myself only cover one. Temporary Nesters: -Are given approximately a weeks heads up before dragons are sent! -Dragons come with food to cover their nesting time frame! -Any hatchlings that are not spirals you are free to keep/sell/exalt at your leisure. If a spiral hatches and you truely love them, you may keep one of them too. -Send the parents and hatchling(s) back to BrokenLink when they're ready! Permanent Nesters: -Get to keep the pair unless they are requested in another eye type variant where they will go to a temporary nester and then back to you. -Parents will come equipped with the standard Bio to be passed down to their hatchlings. Just copy and paste it to the children before sending them off! -Any non-spiral hatchlings are yours to keep/sell/exalt as you please. Of course you may opt to keep a spiral child from nests too if you happen to fall in love with them. -Send hatchlings to BrokenLink for storage and sale! -If you would like to suggest gene upgrades to a pair, you can request funds from the "hatchery bank" to do so! All proceeds from selling Spirals go there to improve and add new pairs!-please note this isnt always a terribly large pool of funds as we try to keep the hatchlings relatively inexpensive. So you've bought yourself a Spiraling Spirals Support and Comfort Dragon! But you're not sure how to edit it so its really personalized for you. We're here to help you, but sometimes asking for help is hard or awkward. Or maybe you just want to learn how to do it yourself so that you don't have to worry about looking for more help later. Well, this Bio Editing Guide is here to help! [b]Extra Tip;[/b] if you're inexperienced, and fear accidentally screwing up any of the coding in our bios, copy it to somewhere else before you begin editing. do each step one part at a time, and click on the submit and update the copied version until you have finished editing it out so you don't loose progress if you mess something up later. If you botch your Bio we will also fix it at no charge to a blank standard version. [b]1:[/b]First things first; places your name goes are substituted by "OWNER" it appears 5 times through out the bio. If you're on a computer you can use ctrl+f to find the word Owner and replace it with your name. If not, it is the only full word capitalized in the bio, in hopes it will be easier to find. [b]2;[/b] Soothe and distract need filling out to your preferences and personal style! You can check out our visitor dragon's bio for some standard ideas. Self soothing methods are things that are specifically pleasant or calming to you. Scroll down to where you can see this; [code] [*] soothe [/code] replace the word "soothe in that with something you find pleasant or soothing. Sometimes when you're stressed out, or otherwise upset, having a list can help you remember what kinds of things you like. Also having a list of healthy soothing habits can help you break potentially unhealthy ones if you have any! If you want to add more than what is already there for slots, add another [*] at the bottom of the others on it's own line break before the [/list] tag. [b]3:[/b] After you've filled in your self soothing methods, add some distraction methods. Distractions purpose is to take your mind away from the problem at hand so that you can come back to the problem in a more stable mindset. Things that occupy or busy your mind with other things that will improve your mood. Just like with the soothe section find the section that looks something like this; [code] [*] distract [/code] Once you've located that part replace the words distract with your personal distraction methods of choice.
