The Hydrophis are my own personal subspecies, but is being bred by multiple people. So you have a bigger chance at snagging on from this hatchery! I have two pairs that span the entire secondary range in the specifications that I will breed only on request.
You can order a breeding pair from me as the pairs that I own are unrelated to each other.
Other people will advertise their own Hydrophis Hatchlings in this Hatchery Thread as well, but they set their own prices and will be able to give discounts that I personally will not. They will also specify if they wanted to be pinged or otherwise contacted.

Lore:
The Hydrophis are dragons that have a great love of the ocean, spending the majority of their lives in the warm waters around the coral reefs in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. They hardly ever walk the lands, as they are most adapted to glide in the sea. They can "fly" in the waters with the same ease as they do in the air above the seas, their big wings enabling them to go faster. Because of their speed in the water, they are sometimes asked to bring messages to allied clans.
They can spend weeks under the surface of the water without having to come up to take a breath of air. As the Hydrophis do not like to walk on the land they will meet their friends of other clans at the Tidepools, where they are still surrounded by water. If they need to visit a land-bound clan, they will fly to the nearest lake in the area and linger no longer than needed before returning to the sea. This behavior can come off as rude, but Hydrophis are better suited to the sea than land.
They have lighter colored bellies that confuse their prey when looking up to the surface of the waters. This allows the Hydrophis to strike fast from above and catch their prey. The slight transparency of their wings allows some sunlight to filter through the wings to fool their prey.
The lighter the wings of the Hydrophis are the more poisonous they are. The ones with lighter colored wings have a poison strong enough to kill a dragon in less than an hour, while those with darker colors are usually not lethal, or sometimes not even poisonous. The Hydrophis have excellent control over their poison glands, rarely actually injecting venom when they bite. Hydrophis are gentle creatures that do not attack unless all negotiations have broken down or if they have been attacked or provoked.
