Moonbeams tend to be powerful guardians and warriors, with the strength of the celestial bodies for which they are named. (Moon-beam) [size=5]So then, what’s a Shining Star?[/size] Shining Stars are the descendants of Nova, a fallen star who landed in Lightning territory. Brothers and sisters to Moonbeams, Shining Stars are darker in color and usually have brightly colored wings. They live in more secluded areas, such as the Hewn City, and are given to a clan as a protector. That’s really it, to continue Misty and Prism’s legacy and spread it throughout Sornieth. [size=5]How much do the dragons cost?[/size] They’re completely free unless they’re XXYs, XXXs, or have a more rare eye type (faceted, multi-gaze, primal)! XXYs are 10kt or the equivalent, as are rare eye types. XXXs are 15kt. [size=5]What’s your treasure-to-gem ratio?[/size] 1 gem = 1,000 treasure [/center]

The comets, however, did not land in the same place. One landed in Wind territory, the other in Light, crashing into the land and scaring the dragons who lived there. The first dragon landed in the Zephyr Steppes, amoung a patch of particularly uncomfortable bamboo. She was a skydancer, a light blueish, grayish, purpleish shade of white, much like the moon. Having landed in wind territory, her eyes were a light green, however, despite their color, they reflected the calm serenity of the nighttime. As dragons began to crowd around her, wondering the origin of this dragon, they seemed to agree on a name for her: Misty, like her colors. The crowding, however, scared Misty, and though she knew these dragons would not hurt her, she took flight. It was as if there was a part of her missing; something, or someone, needed to be found to complete her mission. Meanwhile, her counterpart had landed in the Hewn City. His feathers reflected the little light that was there in all directions, and his eyes, having landed in Light territory were a bright, fiery yellow. Unlike his counterpart, this skydancer radiated light all over, like the sun. He seemed almost to be made of glass, reflecting and refracting the light over the Hewn City. The dragons who lived there stood, in shock, as light was finally given to their homes. Unlike the rest of the Sunbeam ruins, the Hewn City was dark and gripped by shadow. The dragons there who’d lost hope suddenly felt it ignite inside them once more as the new dragon almost glowed with pride and light. Thus, for his ability to refract light, they named him Prism. Though Prism quite enjoyed the attention he was getting from the dragons who lived where he’d landed, he felt almost empty somehow. Opening his wide, bright wings, the skydancer took off, taking the light with him. They met over Sornieth, in the clouds. Misty and Prism nearly crashed into each other before they realized this was what they’d been looking for the whole time; now they finally felt whole again. Some dragons would call it a coincidence, others would say they were soulmates. Either way, they both understood their missions: to spread the legacy of moonbeams all acrosss this continent, to help clans all over protect themselves from evil such as the Shade. And so, having finally found one another, they began heading north toward their first destination: the Viridian Labyrinth.[/center] [center][img]https://image.ibb.co/m7eUiz/79_F0_B078_D3_FD_4_F3_A_89_D2_407767_D32_B69.jpg[/img] [size=5] Shining Stars:[/size] [color=Purple][font=courier]I found myself huddled, on the ground, in a crater that I presumed I had created. Where was I? Who was I? It seemed hard to remember what I was doing before this, and what my purpose was... did I even have one? All I remembered was shining, very brightly, and then a deep, sincere darkness. Was I the one shining? I attempted to move and found myself standing up. I looked at myself. This is not how I remember myself looking. Come to think about it, I didn’t remember how I looked at all. Was this really it? The body I was in felt terribly different and unnatural. I gazed up at the stars. That was where I belonged, for certain. So why was I down here? Unless... That was it. It had to be it. I was a fallen star. Noticing that I had wings, I decided to use them. I lifted myself off the ground, steering myself with some difficulty toward the sky, only to crash into another dragon, one that looked somewhat like me. “I’m terribly sorry.” I apologized. The other dragon laughed. “It’s alright. Say, I saw you crash into the ground. Are you all right? You fell right from the sky. Where did you come from, anyhow?” “I don’t know.” “You don’t? Do you have any idea?” The red and black dragon peered at me curiously and I shrugged. “I think I might have been a star.” The other dragon’s eyes widened and a grin split across his face. “I’ve never met a star before. I’m Bringer.” He thrust out his talon and for the first time, I smiled, gripping it tightly in a shake. “I would introduce myself, but I don’t have a name.” “We can work on that. In the meantime, you can stay with me and my clan.” I smiled. Maybe being a dragon wouldn’t be so bad. ”How about Crystal? You are rather shiny.” Bringer asked. I shook my head. “But I’m not made of crystal.” “You’re right. We need something more starlike. We could call you Star, that would be pretty literal.” I laughed. “Really?” “Okay, okay. Well, you said you wanted something pretty. How do you think you got down here anyhow?” “I probably died.” I answered truthfully. “How about Nova then? It does make sense, since you’ve been through that.” “Nova.” I tested the name and repeated it several times, as if tasting a new flavor of ice cream. “Yeah, I like that. Nova it is.” “Great! Now we get to introduce you, since you finally have a name!” Bringer decided, and grabbed my front talon tightly before practically dragging me into the forest. The clan was nice. The clearing made a wonderful little village, but I continued to feel alone. I had Bringer, who’d become my mate and partner, and I loved him very much, but every night, I still found myself looking up at the canopy of trees. The stars were blocked out by the leaves, as a sort of metaphor for my new life. Though I still couldn’t remember what being a star was like, I still missed it, and as I flew up to the top of my favorite tree, somehow, I felt tears slide down my cheek onto the dark glossy surface of the leaves. “Why are you crying?” A voice asked from behind me. I turned around and found Bringer, who’d flown up only moments ago, making his way next to me. I couldn’t help but smile. “Is it because you miss being a star?” I nodded sadly. Bringer twined his tail around my own and rested his head against my shoulder. “Don’t worry about it. You have me now, and the clan. Even if you can’t keep shining from up there for everyone, you can keep shining for us down here. Never forget that.” [/center]
