I don't like gemstone, but I really like Rasa, and I like Lace even better. And then there are your Gaolers! I can't stop buying them myself. I've got 5 pair on nest right now. Anyway, I don't know what your plans are for Kohaku; perhaps you will breed him, or train him, or just enjoy him. Whatever it is, I am glad he has the opportunity to bring light to your lair. But lair expansions are expensive and sometimes dragons must move on. If that happens, or if he is called to serve Glittermom, he will take it as an honor and will serve with pride. So I don't know if the lore I just referenced is appropriate or not, but I'm glad he's found a safe home. (I got all caught up in Thrall's story) It looks like it is Kaen's destiny to be a merchant. He should git in and be useful. As a Nocturne, he is prone to adopting the characteristics and personalities of those around him. It is my hope that as a merchant he serves Thrall and the clan well. But I know that things can change and one day he might find himself in another lair or called to the service of the Windsinger. If that is his fate, take on that challenge with pride. A fighter? Or just a dragon you enjoy! But lair space is precious and one day she might be called to bring sunlight to another lair, or she'll be called to serve The Gladekeeper. In either case, she will be as proud as any imperial to do so and will bring honor to your lair. Until such a day arrives, I hope she brings light and joy to you and your clan.
