These mysterious and nocturnal Imperials have a lustrous sheen to their feathers, fur and hide which naturally occurs due to metallic and alloy genes. NightWalkers are also commonly covered in spines, however, on rare occasions, they will also exhibit a slightly lighter shade of obsidian (stained) and an unusually soft hide. It is often believed by other dragons that crossing paths with one of these jet-black Imps is unlucky, but this is just a myth... or is it?

These light-coloured imperials are extremely skilled hunters, hence their name, and they have an incredible resistance to harsh climates. An Arctic Hunter's usually white or off-white hide makes him or her well camouflaged in snowy climates and an excellent candidate for hunting in places such as The Southern Icefields. These Imperials are almost always spotted (jaguar) but may also, due to a rare genetic mutation, have a petaled hide rather than spots. Their wings are either shimmery or crystalline (facet) and they usually have a white underbelly, but will occasionally have strange white markings over their face (smirch) which is beleived to be another genetic mutation within the subspecies.
