A variety of creative types call this clan home, especially those with a love for writing and stories. This clan, named for the [i]delari sylvae[/i], an obscure but ancient species of hardy trees, looks to these trees as living examples of life's persistence, symbols of hope and light. Even in the darkest of times, life will always return. Prevail. They are keepers, guardians, and heralds of this truth, first and foremost, embracing the song of life and beauty of creative essence. This is a clan of scholars, writers, poets, dancers, and singers, healers, adventurers and kindred spirits with an overall empathic regard for all those they encounter. [center]* * * [b]The Hatchery Itself[/b][/center] While based in Light flight territory, we have a strong affinity for the Nature, Wind, and Water flights as well. Not that we dislike the other flights, by any means. The clan hatchery is not really in character. We do not actually sell our babies. Pairs have lore and we are always willing to arrange ic connections, such as letters from hatchlings, but for the most part, we ignore ic lineage for RP purposes (we also tend to ignore what hatch dates mean for the dragon's age). You are free to do likewise with any hatchlings you purchase from us. We are always willing to headcanon with you regarding the hatchlings you acquire here and the connections to their parents, siblings, children, etc. and the Delari Sylvae clan. However, again, you are free to create their lore from scratch instead and pretend their relations are unknown, otherwise named, or different dragons sharing the same name as mine. Or, of course, not RP them at all. Whatever you do with them, we love checking in from time to time and seeing what you've done, even if we don't leave a comment. - Why? You won a part in the Brightshine Bakery 2018 writing contest (or you ran the event, or you created the subspecies I used as my inspiration), these dragons are that dragon's subspecies children. I decided to offer other winners a free shot at either creating their version of that dragon in one of his children, or keeping the hatchling as-is, whatever you want, really.

- You do not have to choose a dragon, you can wait for a different eye-type or color combo in a future nest. Note: Only common, uncommon, unusual, rare, faceted, and goat will ever make this freebie list (ie don't hold out for a free primal/multi-gaze)

- If you decide to wait or don't respond at all, you will be pinged for the next nest automatically. You may request removal from the pinglist and give up your free hatchling.

- If you wish to remain on the pinglist after making your claim, you must also request that, otherwise I will delete you from the list and stop pinging you after you claim your baby.

- This list is first-come, first-serve. If you want to claim one from this round, you have a week after the ping to do so.

- I will try to delete each one as a claim is made. Obviously there are not enough right now for everyone to claim, but normally I only get one or two bites per batch anyway.

More Info (Lore block, feel free to skip):

This hatchling is a Dawnlight Corona. For those who read the stories, don't worry, Oronte and Minuialrin are doing just fine and do not mind sharing each other with nesting mates (Amaurea for Minuialrin, while Oronte pairs up with Solarys for this purpose). The four of them get along famously.

Note: Your hatchling does NOT have to stay a dawnlight corona or even connected in anyway to mine. Once you pick, it's your dragon, you can even exalt it down the road if you like/use it as free fodder. All I ask is that you name it before exalting/leaving the game, and that the name is not cruel or offensive in some way.

@/BrookInTheMeadow I am still uncertain if you want pinged for the rest of the giveaway nest portions as a spectator or would rather wait for pings where there are no more free claims/extras have been put on the AH. For now, I have you down as a spectating ping, but let me know if you'd like to only be pinged for hatchlings you can buy.

If nobody claims her by roll over next week 7/21, she will be named and put on the auction house, possibly leveled to 10 first. Once she is leveled or sold, she will definitely no longer be available to claim.
