A terrible curse was cast on the dragons of the lair by their own leader out of blind rage and now every October, all dragons living in the lair loses all emotion and feeling, going into a dead state. The worst part is that any hatchlings born during the month of October from the parent of a cursed dragon is permanently caught in the dead state. Never to be able to explore their own mind. [b]These are one such hatchlings born from the curse. They are unfeeling and be warned: If they are bred, atleast one of their children will be afflicted with the curse even if it isn't October. [/b]Tread carefully around this dragon and remember... the dead bite.[/center] [center][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/273962/27396108_350.png[/img][/center] [center]A once well versed scholar of a Skydancer and a Plague Clan Leader, Rapier was reduced down to a mere coward after a mistake he had made soon after becoming leader. The clan had gotten comfortable and used to not having any one dragon higher than another and when Rapier decided to change things for himself, his clan turned on him, tried to tear the feathered wise dragon off his throne. During the fray, he lost his eyes, clawed out by his own kin in hopes that he would learn from his mistakes. Now blind, wounded, and left to bleed out outside his clan grounds, Rapier was yet to give up. He gathered what remained of his strength in a rage and put a curse on the clan. What he didn't realize is that he had affected himself as well, now stuck is a state of undeath without his eyes to guide him. Every October after that, the members of the clan were forced to roam around aimlessly with no thoughts running through their minds besides eating. "What have I done?" you can hear Rapier mumble during this accursed month under his breath. Every moment he regrets his decision, wishes that he was able to die that day, but he is trapped by his own curse and can never leave clan grounds without completely losing his mind to his hunger. This was his fate... his clan's fate. There was no going back. The only thing keeping him relatively sane most of the year was his Mate, Savana. She was loyal to him and came to the clan after the curse, but after staying awhile it afflicted her as well. They both work to make sure travelers do not stay long lest they be cursed as well and trapped inside the clan. They both also discovered that any hatchlings born during the Month of the Curse are permanently afflicted, forced to live a life never knowing their own mind. This is the curse of Rapier. Forever to be tormented knowing that they have ruined the lives of hatchlings and the order of his clan.[/center]
