They were once believed to be carved by the same hands as the first and original Windcarved Sentinels but discoveries have proven this not to be true. The Wind Eggs needed protection and thus these Guardians were made. Other tales speak of these stone Guardians being living, breathing statues. Ones that would follow you with their eyes and turn their heads ever so slightly just to be sure you meant no harm to the sacred place.[/b][/size] [/columns] [columns] [size=4][b]These Guardians or some like to call them Warriors, are very much in-tune with the way of battle and the various ways of combat in order to do their jobs with precise precision. But when it comes to battle the females are much like the males. They take their job seriously and will not stop fighting until the threat is vanquished. When mated these Guardians are extremely loyal and protective of their mate and young. The females like any other mother are highly protective of their young and may even take it upon themselves to start their training as early as two days old. Though the males may seem harsh and strict they can be very compassionate to those closest to them. Their breed are born leaders and take charge in all situations.[/b][/size] [size=7][b]:: CULTURE ::[/b][/size] [size=4][b]The Protectors value respect, honor and devotion. They lived their lives to protect and die if need be for the first Wind Eggs. To this day the newer Protectors still live such lives, but in a different way. Many stand guard outside Wind lairs to protect the young within or guard outside a lair with a young Windcarved Sentinel inside, while some intermingle and live within a lair and serve to protect all within it.
