We Take: treasure, gems, mixed t/g payment, and certain items in trade. Our gem to treasure rate is 1g : 650t.

Items Currently Taking: gene, fertility, and maturity scrolls; strange, elemental, and gilded chests; eggs; battle stones such as Eliminate, Berserker, and Ambush. We may also individually accept wishlist items on a case-by-case basis. Please message the breeder of the hatchling you’re interested in if you wish to offer items, make a mixed t/g payment, or otherwise negotiate.

Holds: We will hold dragons for three days to start with. We’ll ping/PM you before rollover on the third day to see if you need more time. If we receive no response in 24 hours, the hold will be dropped. If you do need more time, we will extend the hold three further days (up to a week in total).

To Hold/Buy: Please ping the specific breeder listed next to the hatchling you want here, at either @angsthound or @Shadowfire1223. If you are requesting lore, please also send a PM with the request and any desired lore specifications to the breeder. Please note that lore will take a day or so to be delivered. All payment by CR/PM please.

We offer a 10% discount to affiliates and those of either Arcane or Plague flights! These do not stack. Please tell us if you apply to a discount.

We reserve the right to refuse service, and we reserve first pick of hatchlings on all clutches.

Charms of the Ironwood Hatchery is a joint hatchery run by its co-founders, Shadowfire1223 of the Arcane flight and angsthound of the Plague flight. All of our standard breeding pairs are composed of fully-gened dragons, though we have basics and double-gened dragons available by special request as well.

Both of us sell dragons bred within our own clans, and we also offer some cross-clan pairing options. There are several set pairs that breed on a standard schedule; some are angsthound’s (Plague), some Shadowfire1223’s (Arcane), and some are cross-clan (alternating flights). If you’d like a hatchling from an Arcane pair with Plague eyes, or vice-versa, you can request it for the next nest for a small fee - see “Request Custom Eyes.”

We also offer the option of custom nests: for an upfront fee, you can commission a clutch between any two dragons in our clans and specify Arcane/Plague eyes, and receive a discount on hatchlings purchased from that clutch. See “Commission a Clutch” below for more info.

Hatchlings from our personal breeding projects may also occasionally be sold through the hatchery.

Breeds: We currently breed Tundra, Guardian, Spiral, Pearlcatcher, Ridgeback, Skydancer, Imperial, Nocturne, Coatl, and Wildclaw. Fae and Mirror parents are also available for commissions.

Standard Pricing: There is a base price for each hatchling of 1k per breed cooldown day, plus fees for special features.

• Tundra, Guardian, Mirror, Fae: 15k
• Pearlcatcher, Spiral, Ridgeback: 20k
• Skydancer: 25k
• Imperial, Nocturne: 30k
• Coatl, Wildclaw: 35k

Special Features

• Custom eyes: 1k upfront flat fee (see “Request Custom Eyes”)
• Double colors: add 3k
• Triple colors: add 5k
• Hatchling is one of 10 or fewer active dragons with that color combo: add 5k
• No other active dragons with that color combo: add 10k
• Optional one-full-paragraph lore write-up: add 1k (please PM breeder with request and any specifications wanted)

Since we operate out of two different flights, you have the option to request a standard scheduled clutch be specially bred in either an Arcane or Plague nest for a small upfront fee. (In the future we might expand into renting nests from other flights, but that’s not an option yet.)

Hatchlings from pairs owned by angsthound come with Plague (red) eyes standard, those from pairs owned by Shadowfire1223 with Arcane (pink) standard. Those from cross-clan pairs like Fire and Ice will alternate between Plague and Arcane clutches standard.

Custom eye requests come with a nonrefundable 1k flat fee upfront, since it requires shifting around our personal breeding projects. However, that 1k will be taken off the price of the first hatchling from the custom-eye clutch that the requester purchases.

To request custom eyes, please ping us both here at @angsthound and @Shadowfire1223 with the name of the pairing and requested eye color. We’ll get back to you in 24 hours to let you know if it will be possible (in most cases it should be).

Please make custom eye requests no later than seven full days before the Next Clutch Hatches date listed beneath the pairing. Requests made later than this will not be honored.

In addition to standard scheduled pairs, we also offer the option to commission a one-time clutch between any two dragons listed in either of our lairs (with the exceptions listed below), bred in whichever flight you prefer.

Dragons not available for commissions: Kaedreth, Hollusta.

Also please be aware that some of our dragons are ongoing gene projects and will change over time.

If you’d like to see the range of color possibilities for any custom pairing you are considering, you can use this color predictor tool as well as FR’s Foresee Progeny tool.

To commission a clutch: Please ping the breeder/s who own the dragons you’d like to pair here with the clutch commission request, the names of the dragons in question, and the requested flight. We will message you within 24 hours to discuss the commission.

Once we have agreed to breed your clutch, we will need to receive the commission fee before we breed the dragons.

Pricing: There is a nonrefundable upfront commission fee of 10% the base price of a hatchling of the breed you are requesting, or of the average between breed prices if you choose a mixed-breed pairing. Thus, a Tundra/Tundra clutch would have a commission fee of 1500, while a Nocturne/Wildclaw clutch would have a commission fee of 3250. All applicable Special Features fees apply to the final hatchling price.

If you purchase one hatchling from the clutch you commissioned, the commission fee will be included as a discount on the hatchling. If you purchase further hatchlings from the clutch, you will receive a discount of 5% of base price per hatchling for the additional ones you buy.

Hatchlings from commissioned clutches with two or more siblings will also be discounted across the board 2k per sibling starting with the third - i.e. dragons from a commissioned clutch of three eggs will be discounted 2k, from a clutch of four eggs 4k, from a clutch of five eggs 6k.
