I may have excerpts or links here. Out there among the desert sands, the raging winds howling carrying dust and debris with it. The call to arms a whisper along those very winds. A man of great stature and honor stands before a group of dragons. Dearon grabs his sword and gives them his best pep talk before a small battle. They had been traveling the lands for a long time now, fighting foes and defeating monsters every step of the way. Their band of adventurers, no matter how rag tag and motley it may seem, has grown closer with each passing day. Though Dearon is a tough man, he can't help but almost shed a tear at how much he truly cares for each and every one of them. He knows they'll be fine, even without his protection, but he still watches out for them every second he can in and out of battle. He holds his sword to the sky. A triumphant cry sounds from within him, next from the group. They carry on their journey to rid Sornieth of its untold evils. The Chroma Sentinels hot on her heels, she takes them through the Crystalspine Reaches hoping to lose them through the mountainous terrain. She twists and they turn, keeping up with her as weaves and dodges through sharp spiked caverns. As she exits the cave it takes her to an outcropping, a cliff face that leads to more sharp spikes and the crashing ocean below. She's surrounded, they draw closer and closer, soon the leader of the group steps forward with a twisted smile on their face. Ophea turns to look to the waters below then back to the Sentinels. As the leader steps forward Ophea closes her eyes and steps back. She plummets to the great ocean below. The Sentinels gather around the cliff's edge. The leader, with an angry snarl, turns and leaves. There is no signs of Ophea below. As soon as the last sentinels leave she emerges from the battering waves gasping for air, she swims to a crystal spike and clings to it. It's clearly not safe to take the main routes. She swims against the shores, taking breaks at different spikes, soon she makes it to the beginning of the Starwood Strand. This is where she will set off to seek refuge. She just hopes the dragons she comes across will be less deadly.
