Character or relationship: You remember
Val? Specifically, this time, I'm looking for his relationship with Lavereaux Ferrelains.
Information: Without going too-too much into detail here (though you can find out more in Val's backstory, as linked in the prior post), Val and Lav have an incredibly unhealthy and abusive (both physically and emotionally) relationship. Lavereaux protected Val as a child, but eventually joined the military to take care of his mother, whose health was failing. While he was gone, things got worse for Val, and he feels partly (largely) responsible for the monster Val has become. He stays with him to act as a partial shield, under the assumption that any abuse he receives is less abuse for someone else, especially since he feels he partially deserves what Val dishes out.
Character or relationship: An OC of mine. Sorry to be so vague; it's an OC for a novel I'm
slowly writing at a glacial pace, so I don't want to talk too too much in specifics.
Information: The character in question is basically the trope of the Chosen One. He has a genetic mutation that pops up only very rarely, and is essentially taught from birth that he's going to live up to some Great Destiny. As such, he ends up arrogant and full of confidence that he can essentially do no wrong. The first time he faces a seemingly insurmountable struggle in life, he (essentially, sorta) makes a pact with an unknowable entity to get out of it, which destroys the knight order that had raised him (and that functionally acted as combination police/diplomatic force for the realm). He then goes on a quest to gain power, usurps the current ruler, and over the next few hundred years, brainwashes the country into believing he's a righteous and just ruler.
Having songs that focus on arrogance, a desire for power, etc., would be great.
Misc: The usual avoiding screamy, non-melodic stuff please.

Information: She’s got her bio in the link above but a quick summary is that she’s a shape shifting dragon who at a young age was forced to leave her mother (the only other dragon she knew) and hid out in the city, avoiding everyone and general detection. She became closed off but she was later found by one of the only other existing dragons on her continent who taught her how to shift, and use her powers of controlling fire (not creating it, she needs a fire source to control)
Misc: (Anything else I should know ie triggers to avoid, songs or genres you want included, etc?)
I’m fine with any songs as long as they’re not screamy (like heavy metal) and no songs about suicide. I’m okay with English, French and Mandarin songs, but English is generally preferred :)

Information: super powered teen with the ability to control cosmic energies (so like, space powers basically). is both incredibly powerful and incredibly scared of their powers, generally twitchy, shy, and sheltered. subject to Moods, while they usually try their best to be nice they can definitely get nasty when under a lot of stress. because of their own self loathing they didn't really have friends growing up. lives with their adoring mother and lost their father around three years ago. their heroic career has made them and their friends face some Horrific things that nobody, let alone a
teenager, should have to go through, and as a result they're a lot more bitter and impulsive.
Misc: i'm Very set on having
this song in there, any songs that are similar to it i think would fit well but if you find a song that you feel would work that doesn't necessarily match that theme then by all means!

I just adore them, and they are so matchy and pretty <33 And Kerosine??? How did you know that I have not one but two self-destructive fire dancers........ So she's automatically just my Favorite!
