Hello! I loved the poem examples! Could I possibly get a 10-16 line poem about her? Of course~ :) But I'd like to ask, why is the love tragic? What happened? And does she feel determined and ready to move on, or heartbroken and dwelling in the past?

Ah!
A little in her backstory;
She was a dragonet hatched in a large clan, besides many other dragonets there was a golden imperial one, they were good friends and she soon fell in love with him. They had a bond and he felt somewhat the same thing for her but as they grew he became more and more interested in the high ranks, leaving his emotions in the shadows. Unable to fix her own feelings and with hurt pride Miki left the clan out of impulse.

I was his, I was his
Until he forgot about me
His precious gold scales I would kiss
He would tell me I was special to him
But alas, his love I lost
He made my patience grow thin
He'd strive for the higher cause
And come back with higher ranks
As he slowly forgot the love he had for me
I tried to understand but my temper still shrank
Until I just had to leave
With tears in my eyes I walked away
From the one I could love no more
The one who caused me so much dismay
