[i]You part ways with the Pearlcatcher for now, and decide to take in the magnitude of these palaces' bones. Obelisks, filled with the pattered stories of old, graze the twilight sky. You catch glimpses of runes painstakingly scrawled on every side of them: "She flew in spindrifts and so did her promises..." "Never trust a yellow-eye..." "A careless beast tangled in treachery..." You take the time to sift through brambles and branches to make sense of them, but to no avail.
Oftentimes, it is impossible to tell a story with jagged pieces.
Your knees tremble and give out beneath you. You just want sleep, but it dances away from you.
You lift your tired eyes ahead, and see a beast of a building.
Veins leave cracks across the marble gates, which are punctured by roots of trees long dead. Etched onto the gates in incredible detail is a pair of pearl-bedecked... Antlers.
The gates are open, and so they are separated.
Fearful of the old Pearlcatcher in the wild ever more, you slip between the cracks; where else is there to go?
Inside is a battlefield-- Or, perhaps, more accurately, a graveyard-- Of pillars. Some are untouched; others are crumbed and worn; still others are little more than swallowed stones in thriving plants. Pearls are strewn left and right, nearly all of them are opaque, without a single memory shining through.
You realize that this is a place for dying dreams.
A sort of morbid curiosity fills you as you wonder what became of those who once held these pearls. How did they die? How did they[/i] live[i]?
A wave of exhaustion hits you again, and this time, it nearly takes you out.
One pearl in particular seems to catch your eyes as you stumble your way over to it. It looks as ordinary as any other, but you are drawn to it for reasons beyond explanation.
Once, you were fighting insomnia. Now, you're fighting sleep.
You grapple on to the strange pearl. As you clutch it, you feel something wet on your hands...
You turn the pearl around. Black splotches cover your claws. You try to detach your hands, but they're stuck to it...
When you finally glimpse the other side of the pearl, two smudged words are written messily:

What's your average word count for each (Character Overview, One Story, etc)? :D And what sort of information do you need to know to work off of for a character?

I'm working on 8/15 breeding projects and a lot of them are using Rare/Limited breeds sooo one could say it's a time consuming process. ^^'
Awesome~ I do hope your lore shop sticks around. I think I'll start with the
hardest least developed character I have currently then, if you'd be willing.

He's a pretty old subspecies created by kizunagatari called
Isomania, and other than being the designated clan tech expert, engineer, and scientist, I have no set personality for him. No lore built, no backstory, nada. I suppose the only thing I would ask
not to be included is a gorey backstory but anything else would work fine!
Matrix is very capable of honing both magic and tech for his creations; although he's slightly more tech nerd than magic user. He's well known for the prosthetic limbs he creates for others and for making robotic oddities (androids, critters, etc) that are his assistant in the lab. His primary assistant is his Golem Gauntlet named Malfunction - because it's one of his first creations and it malfunctions a lot.
That's pretty much all I've got, I apologize. Thus far he's just the nerd noodle who's busily crafting things in his workshop and at times seems a bit scattered.
If he's too unpolished to deal with just let me know- I can file through some of my other dergs for a more suitable individual with something you can work more off of than this semi-blank slate.
