However in your hesitant silence you can tell she is getting a little impatient, a claw tapping on the tiny desktop. Finally you get your bearings and mention something about a passport. “AH YES.” She yells again, for no reason you can recognize. “PLEASE FILL OUT THESE FORMS IN TRIPLICATE. ALSO PLEASE PRESENT ME WITH YOUR HATCHING CERTIFICATE AND A VALID IDENTIFICATION CARD. I ALSO NEED A PROOF OF LIGHTNING INSURANCE, PLEASE.” As you dig in your belongings to find the required papers, she pushes forward a clipboard that seems best suited for the hands of a fae, as well as a glittery blue pen. You manage to get the papers onto the desk, and she swipes them quickly away. Adjusting her glasses she squints at each, holding them up to the light. You try to fill out the duplicate forms, doing your best to ignore her loud HMMs and AHHAWs. At some point she begins rummaging and knocking things about in her too-small workspace. You cant wait to get out of this place, finishing quickly and pushing them towards her. To your relief she gives your papers back, before now scrutinizing the forms you filled out. She licked a claw each time she had to leaf through the next page- taking far longer then YOU thought was necessary. You wonder if you can come back another time, before she set the papers down. Taking a stamp that looks like it was made by an imperial, she stamps it down hard enough to cause the doodads on her desk to tremble. “YOUR PAPERWORK SEEMS TO BE IN ORDER, PLEASE STAND IN THE WHITE SQUARE FOR YOUR PHOTO.” After shuffling over into the corner that was a little too small for you, you wait for the ridgeback to finish knocking stuff around.
